Odie would love to be your buddy! He loves anything and everything - especially belly rubs! He's a happy-go-lucky guy waiting to roll into your life. Odie even knows a few commands in Spanish, but is catching on in English too! What a smart fella.

Remember, through the weekend you can get half off adoption fees on senior dogs, cats, and your second kitten! Odie here is a young pup at 1 year, but he's got lots of friends at the shelter who are looking for a home, too!

‼️ URGENT REQUEST! ‼️

You all showed up for our cats last week, now we need you to do the same for our dogs! We've been having some upset bellies at the shelter and our poor caretakers have had to clean some impressively messy kennels lately.

The shelter is already a high stress environment which can lead to GI issues, but we also think that our dogs' food has been changing too much. While we appreciate each and every donation, we would like to try and get them on a more consistent diet to get them feeling better. Please consider donating:

Have you ever thought, "Dang, I sure would love to have 80 lbs of pure happiness & a giant head come barreling at me at full speed"? Well, do we have the guy for you!

Rubble is ready to leap into your life with a zest that even a lemon couldn't match. Rubble would love to play fetch and get some lovin' from his new owners 24/7. We think he would make a great adventure dog, as he is entirely fearless! His smile is infectious, speed is impressive, and did we mention his giant head?

Remember, through the weekend we are running lots of deals on both cats and dogs for our campaign! We are extra full this time of year, so adopting is crucial for us. Stop in today (Wednesday) until 4 PM, Thursday 1-7PM, or Friday & Saturday 1-4 PM to meet our available pets.

We had the absolute coolest thing happen at ECCHA!

Back in 2021/22, our friend Jamie worked as a caretaker out of college while she was applying for vet school. Jamie got in (of course she did!) and has been working hard the last few years to be an amazing veterinarian. She started her clinical rotations recently, and we were honored to host her for a few weeks with our in-house vet, Dr. Amber!

Jamie got to work side-by-side with Dr. Amber and Liz for a couple of weeks, helping us with spay/neuters, routine vet exams, and anything else she was able to get her hands on. We are so excited for Jamie and her long dedication to animal welfare and vet medicine. We wish her all the best while she continues on in her clinical journey - hopefully, we will see her back in the Chippewa Valley soon!

We are open TODAY (Thursday) until 7! Meet our blue eyed handsome Jordy!

Jordy does great with other dogs and kiddos - he would be a great family dog! Jordy is only 5 years old and would love a home that he can be outside as much as possible - whether that’s playing with toys, romping in the water, or just laying in the sun!

Jordy is chatty in his kennel but melts when you meet him outside - stop by and say hello!

The very first Flash Tattoos Benefitting Eau Claire Humane Association is happening at Midwest Tattoo TOMORROW (Saturday) 10-5! Here are some of the flash options available - pricing is in the caption of each photo.

Prices range from $100-$200, with up to $50 per tattoo benefitting ECCHA!

We are expecting a huge turnout for this. If you are coming by, be prepared to wait for a few hours. Remember, tattoos are permanent, and our artists want to ensure they give ample time per person for them to be paw-fect!
