I'm pretty sure some rabbits are particular about who they mate. And if given the choice, they can take their time. Days, sometimes months. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Does (females) do not go in heat. They drop eggs after being bred. The bucks can go in and out of verility.

Monty said he doesn't mind sleeping so much anymore because he can do things in his dreams he's unable to do in reality.
I try to take pictures and videos for him so he can see a bit of what I see.
We weren't able to get him outside today. We'll try again tomorrow. A few adjustments need to be made.

What color is he?? He doesn't look at all like my seals or Siamese sables or smoke pearls. My guess is a chocolate based Siamese sable that's taking a while for color to develop. What say you?? 🤔
I can't keep him. I'm overflowing with bucks. Need a pet or buck? He likes to breed already at 9.5 weeks. 😂🫣

Monty thought he'd go for a hike this morning and made it as far as the floor. He bloodied his elbow and got an earful from me. I had to call 911 to get him back in bed. I said I'll be putting his mattress on the floor next time he does that. If he wants his bed, he has to stay in it. 😄
Later, he told the hospice nurse he really wants to go outside. She said, "let me see what we can do!" I thought she was just placating him. Nope... they had this cool contraption delivered this evening. It's a hydraulic lift. We'll try it out tomorrow!
All he wants to do is sit outside on the back deck.
Don't take the little things for granted. Be thankful. Thank God for the beauty around you. You get to go outside. I know I'm thankful. I didn't know if Monty would be here for my birthday. And now we have a lift to take him outside.
PS: that's Grizzly hanging with him in the bed.

This bunny is so soft and sweet. Takes after his momma and daddy (you may think that's a "duh" statement but it isn't. Not with rabbits. You never know what you're gonna get and not all my ESA's offspring are ESAs!).

Grizzly, Grizzly, Grizzly.... It's not because no one wants you. It's because they all live in Timbuktu. It's hard for people to come across the country to get a bunny...or across the world! Though I've brought a few across the ocean myself, it's not always the best option. You are LOVED, sweet, sweet boy.
Hopefully someone locally or able to drive will find you soon. I'm sorry I can't keep you myself. Someone will be blessed by your gentle soul. ❤️‍🩹 If interested, he's in Eden, NC! Come get him. I can't drive to meet, I'm sorry.
