Sheeewwweeee Navy understood the assignment for Long and Low 😍

This boy is destined to be a star and get attention in any ring he steps in!

At only 4 he sticks at 17h and is still growing. He is a showstopper with every stride.

He has a chip removed from his RF sesamoid and a medial branch suspensory tear. No expense has been spared in his rehab. He is sound and ready to be restarted. That said he will be best in a lower level home.

He is RRP eligible with special considerations made for RRP homes. We are located in Eden, MD

Good morning everyone! We are finally coming back into a normal routine after the holidays. That being said I have had multiple inquiries on available horses, so I wanted to make a list of our current horses and their brief descriptions. So without further ado…..

🩵Vero Sun🩵
Vero is an 8yr old 16.3h gelding. He has some arthritic build up in his front ankles but has been on full turnout since mid November when he got to the farm and has been completely sound. That said he would still benefit from being a flat work career horse. He screams class and has absolutely beautiful movement. He collects himself wonderfully and would make a wonderful dressage partner. He is RRP eligible. Low 4s

🩵Lord of the navy🩵
Knox is a 17.1h 4yr old gelding. Retired after sustaining a medial apical sesamoid fracture and a medial branch suspensory tear in his right front. He had surgery to remove the sesamoid fragment and clean up the joint. No expense was spared and no corner was cut in his rehab. He is on full turnout now and is sound currently. Give him the rest of the winter off for turnout and bring him back into work in the spring. He could go in any direction with limitations. He is RRP eligible. Low 4s

🩵Ruby Dooby Doo🩵
Ruby is a 5yr old mare that stands about 15.2h. She is completely sound and has no limitations at all. She is a very sweet mare with a ton of personality. Even cooler, she is a one eye wonder!! She lost her right eye after getting an infection in it. She loads great. Stalls great. She’s out in a mixed herd currently and is towards the bottom of the pecking order. She will kick the stall wall at dinner time when she gets really worked up and excited (the girl loves her some food). She came to us with some rain rot that we are still working on clearing up. She is a very athletic mare and could easily see her going in any direction with the right trainer. Low 4s

6yr old 15.2h liver chestnut mare with all the chrome!!! This girl has a special place in my heart. She is an absolute in your pocket doll baby of a mare. She will use you as a head scratching post whenever she gets the chance. She had no vices or soundness issues. Never had any injuries. She’s on full turnout and can go any direction. But this girl WANTS to be a barrel horse. She screamsssss barrel horse. She is RRP eligible. Low/mid 4s

Where are my red headed mare lovers at 😍

Bet On Drama aka “Drama”

Drama is a 5yr old 15.2h liver chestnut mare. She is our resident sour patch kid. She’s all work and drive, but wants love and cuddles at the same time. She is not for a beginner!

She doesn’t have any huge vices other than she can definitely be pushy and in your space on the ground, but is easily corrected. No cribbing, no weaving. She does NOT like other horses sniffing up her but so she will kick out when they come up behind her.

She retired sore on her left front and is just getting downtime and some ground work for now before going into being really restarted. She has been completely sound since being here and is a beautiful and powerful mover. She’s a barrel racers dream mare and really knows how to use her hind end to push herself forward and stay balanced on her front.

She is currently turned out with 3 other mares and is midway on the totem pole. Not boss mare, but not taking crap either.

It took 30 seconds on each side for her to learn how to flex from the ground and yield her hind quarters. So she is extremely smart and wants to please.

She is RRP eligible. Sound and sane.

At absolutely no fault of his own, Mr. Briggs, is still available!! We just haven’t found that person for him yet!

This boy is seriously something special and is going to be an upper level horse in whatever direction you decide to take him! Each one of his gaits are absolutely flawless and thought out, he is always on the right lead, and never gets ahead of himself. He has the most perfect build. From the perfect leg length, the perfect length of his back, the most beautiful neck and should tie to his perfect soft kind eye. He is the definition of perfection.

Adding to his perfect conformation, is a demeanor that I have everyone constantly searching for in a horse. That perfect balance of puppy dog and work ethic. He turns to his person for confidence when he is unsure of something new, but carries his rider with amazing confidence that makes him ammy friendly!

He has only had two post track rides now and we don’t really want to push his ride numbers much further because we want to maintain his RRP eligibility. Wether it’s Eventing, Dressage, Hunter jumper, Barrel racing or even competitive trail riding. This boy will be the absolute perfect mount for anything!

He did already have a very basic vet exam done with basic flexions and passed with flying colors. But any X-rays or further lameness testing is completely fine at buyers expense.

And insert the creation of Mr Briggs. 17h of tall, dark and handsome perfection 😍

This boy is the definition of upper level in all aspects of the word. He has the certain spark in his eye that tells me he is so destined for greatness and the world is his for the taking!

He is a true one in a million type of horse. I would LOVE to see him at RRP next year but the perfect home is the most important above all. He has all the makings to be an upper level eventer or hunter jumper. Or turn him into your next UL dressage mount!!! Whatever direction you want to go, and whatever level you want to achieve, this boy can take you there!

Side note: his “first post track ride” was done by my 18m old son and he was a saint 😅

Yankee Joe living his best life with Lexie Cook!!! Thankful for amazing clients like Lexie that stand by their horse no matter what and always put them first!

The Yankee update we have all been waiting for…

Back in April after his first event, I decided to get X-rays done of his bad fetlock to see where we were with his recovery. It wasn’t news any of us were hoping for, his films showed that either his fracture never healed at all or that it was filled with scar tissue. He was flexing positive on that front ankle so X-rays were sent off to a surgeon for a second opinion. I was quoted 6k for surgery, which I can’t afford unfortunately. Instead I’ve moved him to my vets house where he’s been living so happily for the last 4-5 months to layup and hopefully heal a little more. We’ll be re-xraying him in another month or two to check up on his progress. Dependent on these films, he may get another 6 months off or go back to work. Rest assured, he’s not going anywhere regardless of his prognosis. He’s been cleared for low level dressage and trail riding so if anything he’ll be Travis’s trail horse or maybe a lesson horse but we are hoping for the best! He’s looking better than ever and truly thriving, I love this horse so much❤️

Yearly reminder for all of our clients, past and present or even people we have never met before…..

If at any point in time you have ever adopted a horse from us, and you can no longer care for the horse the way it needs and deserves, PLEASE reach out.

We are here to help you for the life of our horse. Wether it’s because of financial reasons, personal reasons, the horse sustains a career ending injury and you aren’t in a position to offer a full retirement home, the horse develops behavioral issues or anything in between, just reach out. We will never judge you for doing the right thing. We will either help you place the horse or if it is an immediate need for rehoming, we will always take the horse back here no questions asked.

I will however judge if we find our horse in deplorable condition, dumped at an auction, sent to a known kill buyer or sold under false advertisement where the horse could become injured from a limitation or could injure a unsuitable rider unknowingly. There is absolutely no excuse for a single one of our horses to ever end up in a position where we need to force intervention to save it or rescue it.

This also goes for any and all turning for home horses. Even if you didn’t adopt the horse from us here, please do not EVER hesitate to reach out. Wether you’d re afraid/embarrassed to reach out to the original farm or if it is simply because we are the closest farm to you. We will take the horse in here no questions asked as well and we will work with the partner farm you adopted from to get the horse back there to them, or work with them to find the horse a new approved home.

And if we have never talked to you a day in life before, and you find yourself in an emergency situation where you can not care for your horse at all and need immediate placement, PLEASE PLEASE reach out. I will do everything in my power to help you find quick SAFE placement for your horse and help facilitate the process and if I am in the place to do so at the time, you can surrender your horse over to us until we can access the horse fully and find it a approved home.

Just please, DO RIGHT BY THE HORSE. We are extremely understanding that life happens and things come up beyond our control sometimes. It’s okay. We have all been there before and we will always be a safety net for our horses and we will do what we can for any horse in need.

He works endlessly to better himself and his horses. He has faught through more uphill battles than any other kid I know! Being diagnosed with cancer at a young age AND BEATING IT, fractured his leg and couldn’t be kept down, broke multiple ribs and STILL got back in the saddle and finished out his ride! This boy is determined and tough as nails!

Our thoroughbreds are such amazing western performance horses!!

Ask us about our current sale horses we have available that have all the makings to be a true 1D/2D caliber horse! That perfect hip and shoulder and proportioned short back.

Some of those smaller frame thoroughbreds that people in the western world pass on because they are “built like a brick house QH” are the ones that can really lay down a smokin pole run!

And don’t forget our shorter stockier guys who might not have the early speed trait some of our barrel prospects have but they are the ones with all the grit and heart to kill it in the rope pen or out on the ranch working cattle!

And when you want to slow it down for a weekend, these same horses will pack you down a 10 mile trail ride with the reins dropped and a smile on your face!

They can truly do it all!

We have 2 prospects in right now that are truly going to be the knock out western performance horse. And even one BIG GUY, that after plenty of time off and recover time from a suspensory injury, that has all the making to be someone beautiful western dressage mount!
