PUPPY OWNERS: ODIN & HEMERA'S LITTER
NOVEMBER 05, 2021

I was informed that one of the girls from this litter went to the vet for a complete health check and a test came back vWD affected.

Odin and Hemera had the Genetic vWD DNA testing prior to breeding and were CLEAR - no variants - no carrier.

I have several people in the Veterinarian field trying to make sense of this, since this is not suppose to be possible.

Has any of the other pups in this litter had any issues with bleeding at teething, injuries, spaying, neutering, etc????

Shickshinny PA, does anyone know of tracking dogs in this area?
We may need a tracker to find a dobie pup.
She just arrived, rode fine for 7 hrs, she bolted and pulled out of her harness....
Need prayers as well.

Update: this sweet pup has been diagnosed with HOD. Now his mommy and the rest of us can stop holding our breath. Thanks to everyone that sent prayers up for this lil guy. 💕

PRAYER WARRIORS: Needing some strong prayers for one of our puppy families.
One of the pups - 14 weeks old, has been running an extremely high fever and vets have no idea what the cause. X-rays - blood work - etc - are no indicators.

This lil guy was a perfect, happy, active pup one day - and the next he was lethargic - high fever - admitted for testing and fluids - but no answers.

Does anyone on our page have any insight on what this could be?
And PLEASE get some prayers going up!! Thanks!!

These babies need homes....

OK all the pups scheduled for earcrops were out playing this morning getting really really dirty, trying to wear them out before the trip into NC. Naps, baths, and we just checked in to the vet clinic.

Argos, 9 yrs old and has always been healthy. Attached Video; is what I came home to Wed eve, I pulled my stethoscope and his heart was racing, pounding, his body was trembling, I was petrified. We immediately loaded and drove to Greensboro NC to the ER Vet who was no longer intaking patients....possibly 6 hr wait. They gave me 2 options. Drive to Winston Salem NC or Burlington NC, we chose the later. Immediate intake - 15 mins of oxygen, xrays, full blood work up. Potassium was low due to not eating, Bun was slightly low. Heart looked good (was my main worry) Vet suspected Gastro.... sent home with meds and follow up with Primary. Got home at 330am, slept 2 hrs, went to kennel to take care of mom's and pups, came back home to find Argos still symptomatic. No interest in high value treats. Loaded and went to his primary vet. More meds and sub q fluids. Probable diagnosis is stomach ulcer. After starting treatment, symptoms have weakened and he has eaten. He is resting much better so hopefully we both can get some rest tonight. Praying the diagnosis and medication is on target. The ER Vet said he was the nicest, sweetest, well mannered dobie they had seen in their clinic. He had to carry his blanky with him to the vet and even carried it to the treatment area.
