Well ๐๐๐๐๐ Bradley! Bradley held 1st or 2nd in the 2D for almost the entire race! He ended up 18th in the 2D with a 16.458, putting him 28th out of 276 runners!!
Bradley added to his LTE this weekend! He added just over $450! We are so proud of this awesome guy! He also ran today again and landed in the middle of the 2D! Notice his reins

My 12 year old wanted to take Bradley to a jackpot. For a jump ride things went ok! There seems to be some misinformation floating aroundโฆ.! 1) we did not take any of our horses from Makala. 2) We did not rip them away from her. 3) she still has a couple of our horses.
We bought Bradley in March and he was instantly sent to Makala. At the time she required 3 month minimum with her. It had been discussed that I wanted to be able to run him at some point. 3 months came and after Royal Crown in OKC we decided he needed to come home to grow up a bit. Which he did. We had already entered the Showdown in Texarkana and it was agreed that Bradley will run with Makala then come home again for me to get use to. Which he is. This has nothing to do with Makala or her training. This simply was in the best interests of Bradley. Makala has known from the beginning that I wanted to run him, and my daughter simply beat me to it! Have no fear that he will be back with makala at some point. And our other horses that are with her will stay until they are at the point to come home as well. Most stallions go to a stallion station for 6 months during breeding season and ours do not. It is a lot to ask a trainer that has 15+ horses at any given time to haul 2-3 stallions to be collected several times a week. Our intentions are to keep her happy and our horses. We simply see this as a break from training and to be a horse and give Makala an opportunity to focus on other horses or stallions during that time.
