It breaks my heart to share this news with our community.
Due to reports filed by a few individuals, we have been instructed to postpone our upcoming spay clinic until we can address the concerns raised. I am absolutely devastated. The countless hours, hard work, and dedication I’ve poured into this effort to help our community have been interrupted, and I know this impacts so many of you who were counting on this clinic.
At this time, we do not have a new date for the clinic. We will be issuing refunds to everyone this week, and I deeply appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this difficult situation.
To clarify a few things for transparency:
• We had two licensed relief veterinarians scheduled to perform all surgeries.
• All anesthesia was to be provided and administered by these veterinarians.
• The images shared on my personal page were NOT of the surgical room but were prep areas.
• The photos of shaved abdomens on the walls were simply examples of shave sites for reference.
• The crockpot mentioned was intended for warming chlorhexidine solution bottles, following ASPCA clinic standards for safe and sterile procedures.
Our sole purpose has always been to help the cats and families in our community. This setback is heartbreaking, but we remain committed to ensuring that this clinic happens in the near future. Thank you for your continued support, and I promise to keep you updated as we work through this.

We understand the frustration caused by our cat trap requirement and want to thank you for your feedback. To accommodate our community better, we are now allowing friendly cats to be brought in secure small cat carriers. However, pre-approval is required to ensure the safety of all involved.
Please contact us in advance to arrange approval if you plan to use a carrier.

As of this morning, every person that had filled out a spay request form has been contacted.
We do still have appointments available for January 5th. If you need an appointment please fill out the form listed in our previous post.

We are finally making progress! Tarps have been laid down in all rooms except for one surgical room. Supplies have already started coming in and getting setup. Surgical tables should be coming in this week as soon as I finish tarping the 2nd room.

As of right now all January 4th appointments have been filled. January 5th still have availability so I am going to try my absolute best to finish contacting and scheduling the rest of the people that have filled out forms by tomorrow.
Once I finish contacting every single person that has filled out a form, I will make a post to let everyone know if we still have space.

It’s time!! Get your outdoor friends signed up to be spayed!
We have 180 available appointments for FEMALE OUTDOOR cats.

Each cat must be in their own TRAP. No carriers or alternatives will be allowed.

There is a 3 cat limit per person. This service is available to anyone and everyone in the RGV and RGC.
Cats must be at least 3 months old and 3 pounds. All cats must be visibly healthy(no sneezing, nasal discharge, vomiting, diarrhea, severe mange, etc)
Any cats that do not meet this requirement will be turned away for the safety of the cat.
There will be no additional charges for pregnant cats or cats with pyometra, a uterine infection.

Attached below is a spay request form. Submitting this form, it indicates that you are requesting an appointment, but it does not guarantee one. We will review requests and contact individuals in the order the forms are received to schedule appointments. Once contacted, full non-refundable payment must be made within 24 hours to secure your appointment. No appointment will be made without payment.

Help us make a difference! We’re in the works of hosting a mass spay clinic to spay over 300 female stray cats.
This clinic will be open to the public and we plan on accepting appointments starting next week. In order to make this happen, we need your help. This clinic may be low cost to the public but it is not low cost to us. We are needing at least $4,000 to pay for not only the vet fees but supplies needed to host this clinic. We need to have all supplies ordered by next week to ensure everything is here on time and ready for our clinic.

We had a great weekend servicing over 55 pets with microchips and nail trims! We serviced over 25 families in cities between North Pharr to Brownsville within 14 hours on the road.
We’d like to give a huge thank you to all the families that got their pets microchipped or nails trimmed this weekend!

Our next trip will be November 2nd and we will only be servicing cities North Pharr/San Juan to Brownsville. If you need an appointment please send us a message. If you’ve sent us a message and have not received a response please send a new message to bump it up.

Due to the high volume of cancellations and owners simply just not answering, we’ve made the unfortunate decision to no longer service the upper valley. This decision was not made lightly but its become a reoccurring issue that we can’t continue to manage.
Moving forward, all in home services will only be available from San Juan to Brownsville. We plan to offer this trip once a month to cater to as many families as possible.

Our next planned trip will be September 28th.
I will be working on responding to all messages this week. Please be patient with me and I get back to each and every one of you.

Even our tiniest of friends need nail trims too!
Ginny the Guinea Pig was such a good girl for her nail trim yesterday.
Smaller exotics such as Guinea pigs, rabbits, and ferrets require frequent nail trims since their nails never stop growing! Overgrown nails may begin curling and poke into their little paw pads causing unnecessary pain.
If you have a small furry friend in need of an in home nail trim let us know!
We will be releasing new September appointment dates this week.

If I scheduled a date for community outreach in low income neighborhoods offering free microchips would anyone be willing to help volunteer? Ultimately I would need a few groups of people to split up to different streets. Each group would for sure need 1 chipper and 1 restrainer. I do need at least 1 person per group that can speak Spanish as most of the owners in these areas don’t speak English.
My mind works too fast and won’t stop until I make it happen so let’s get it done! Let’s keep pets with their owners and out of the shelter

Did you know that regular nail trims are an important part of maintaining your pets care?
Overgrown nails can affect your pets mobility, cause pain, and even curl back into your pets paw pad causing an infection.
Your pets nails should be trimmed on average every 3-4 weeks to maintain a healthy length.

We offer in home nail trims for $15 to avoid a stressful vet or groomer visit.

We had an amazing day servicing over 25 pets in the lower valley with microchips and nail trims yesterday!
We were on the road for 13 hours to provide these much needed services to our community.
