Say hello to our newest team member Dr. Katie Redd!!

Dr. Redd grew up in Colorado where she spent many days hiking, camping, skiing, and enjoying the outdoors. Growing up with many pets, including her family’s two Beagles, she always had a great love for animals and a desire to become a veterinarian.

Her interest in science lead her to attend Colorado State University for her BS in Biological Sciences. During college, she began volunteering at a local cat rescue where she fell in love with working with animals (and specifically cats!) in a medical setting and decided to apply to vet school. She received her DVM degree from Colorado State University in 2021 and started her career as a veterinarian in Denver. Her special interests within the field include feline medicine, soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and ophthalmology.

Having always loved the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Redd decided to move to the Seattle area to enjoy this beautiful part of the country further. When she is not in the clinic, she is out finding a new hiking trail, enjoying water sports like scuba diving and paddle boarding, or exploring the music and restaurant scene in Seattle. Her family includes her parents and brother back in Colorado as well as her two cuddly cats, Milo and Frida, and her mischievous ferret, Penny.

Dr. Redd is thrilled to be part of the Perrinville team and can’t wait to meet you and your pets! 🐾💙
