Ziggy's Home Sweet Home! 🏡🐴

We're bursting with joy to share the incredible news about our beloved Ziggy! After tracking down his original owners, we're thrilled to announce that Ziggy has reunited with them and is now happily residing with his original family. ❤️

Ziggy's original family gifted him to an acquaintance of theirs, which happened to be the wrong hands, due to no fault of their own. They were unable to get in contact with the new owner after a short period of time and lost track of Ziggy. It was only a few months that they were unable to locate him, but enough time that he came into our rescue at an unhealthy weight and in need of serious medical attention. We were able to track down his original family after bringing his health back to normal and they immediately asked to come see him. You could see the connection as soon as they arrived! They were thrilled to welcome him back into their lives and retire him with his old buddies. Witnessing Ziggy reconnect with his buddies and roam freely on the land nearby has been truly heartwarming. 🌟

We also were able to chat about some of his history and see some old photos! He was a mounted patrol horse in the past! 😯

A huge thank you to Ziggy’s family for welcoming him back for retirement and also helping our rescue immensely! Our supporters dedication to our mission has made moments like these possible, reminding us that every effort counts in making a difference in the lives of these horses. We're so grateful for your support throughout Ziggy's journey, and we can't wait to continue sharing more success stories with all of you. 😄

Thank you for being a part of our horse rescue family, Ziggy! Now he's living his best life, reunited with his buddies and enjoying wide-open spaces. Your help made this happen, and we're so thankful for your ongoing support! 🌟🙏

Millie has moved on to greener pastures. 🪽🌈🐴 We, along with our team of equine specialists and vets, made the tough decision that her long term medical conditions continued to cause her too much discomfort, even with treatment. The last thing we want is for her to be in any pain. Prioritizing her well-being, we chose to say goodbye, ensuring she wouldn’t endure anymore pain. This didn’t make it any easier to say goodbye. She left this world surrounded by those who loved her deeply. Our hearts are full, knowing that we had the opportunity to rehabilitate her and create amazing memories. 💕 Millie was quite popular among our supporters. We had a great time with her antics the last 8 months. We love you, Millie. May you enjoy galloping pain-free now. 🕊️🫶🏻
