Thanks to @s3l3nasmommy, we have flyers! If you volunteered to help hang them up around El Paso, I’ll be reaching out very soon! Please also note that we have very good reason to believe that not only does Amy O. still have Alice, but she has changed Alice’s name to Pepper. Please mention that factor to whoever you tell about Alice!
We got Venezuelan Tomy and Gala!
Venezuelan Tomy and Gala have been pulled from City of San Antonio Animal Care Services and are heading back to El Paso!!! Please help me thank @bernie2therescue (who could still use some donations for the trip costs— CashApp $Bernie2therescue) as well as her husband @raularevinas!
And another round of applause for Texas State Rep. Mary González and her Staffer Desirae for their tireless efforts in making this possible! And Adriana from El Paso Animal Services!
With so much ugliness from awful humans, seeing kind souls come together to offer help truly makes it all worth while.
The pugs have a temporary foster lined up, but we do still need a more long-term one if needed(we’re guesstimating about a month or two) as well as back-up options. Please let us know if you can let these two precious puggers stay with you for a while!
Another successful Bridge Pups Rescue family reunion! It takes a frontera!
Another successful Bridge Pups Rescue Reunion!!!!!! Ecuadorian Tobby and Luna were finally reunited with their family after being separated from them at our El Paso border back in April! Soooooo many emotions!
Thank you to ALL who made this one possible: El Paso Animal Services for their vaccinations and initial help as well as arranging for the neutering appointment for Little Tobby! Thank you so much @meg_sando and family for being their first foster and offering them much-needed love and comfort as they adjusted to their new reality! Sooooo much gratitude for @ohjuju94 for being their second foster and taking such amazing loving care of them and helping with crucial vet appointments! You’re amazing, Julie! And Elena Perez of Relentless Dog Rescuer for traveling for days just to transport Tobby and Luna to their family all the way in Wisconsin! And for taking 36 other puppers for a chance at better lives! Thank you to all who donated to fund Elena’s trip, especially Josie. ❤️ And, thank you @yoshi_rex for being on standby for months—you were an angel waiting in the wings!
It truly takes a frontera! Here’s to Tobby and Luna’s new beginning with their beloved family in the U.S.!!!!
Venezuelan Mini Deisy’s Reunion with her family
Reunion!!! Venezuelan Mini Deisy was reunited with her family in Clearwater, Florida yesterday after being separated from them at our border back in early June. They traveled for 4 arduous months on foot to reach our border at a chance at a safer, better life and not once did they consider leaving little Mini behind. Thank you to ALL who help make our mission at Bridge Pups Rescue successful yet again: I appreciate our friends at El Paso Animal Services who help Bridge Pups like Mini with vaccines and so much more! Chris Dominguez, Mini’s foster who truly went above and beyond in making the travel arrangements in Florida, I’m forever thankful we’ve met. Thank you so much @sassy0 for offering to bring Mini to Orlando with you. Susan, Chris and partner from the Pug Rescue of Florida and Georgia for picking Mini up from Orlando and driving her to Clearwater— you all are angels! And even though the first scheduled trip was a bust, a huge thank you goes to Jane, Susie, Colleen and Kelli for being ready and willing to have helped get Mini from Miami.
Here’s to another happy ending (and beginning!) and here’s to Mini Deisy’s new life in the U.S. with her family!!! 🇺🇸❤️🐾

Venezuelan Muñeca pupdate!
Venezuelan Muñeca pupdate! Bridge Pups Rescue Team member Josie and I picked her up from Sacred Heart Church this evening, and her owners were extremely emotional saying goodbye. Muñeca was very scared and very confused and when we got to Josie’s (where Muñeca was going to stay) she made it very clear that she was not interested in making new human or pup friends once we let her out of the kennel. Of course we didn’t want to put ourselves or Josie’s dogs at risk, or stress Muñeca out further so after a bit of brainstorming, we decided that having Muñeca see us interact with her humans might make her trust us and relax. I called the kind Director of Sacred Heart and asked him if we could pick her owners up, and because they are documented and even have work permits, he said yes. So we picked them up from the shelter and we’ve now got a new plan! Old plan was that Muñeca’s mom and dad were going to head to Dallas on @greyhoundlines tomorrow and Muñeca would stay in El Paso until we could get a ride to Dallas (because pets aren’t allowed on @greyhoundlines).
New plan: They are all going to stay at my house until this weekend when Josie and her lovely and kind friend are going to drive them personally to their final destination in Dallas! 🎉❤️
We’d love nothing more than to help them even more by giving them some much-needed funds for their new life here in the U.S. We finally received our letter of designation since we’re now a nonprofit and will set up our new official 501c3 bank account on Thursday and then we hope some of you might be willing to help us them with some donations. If you’d like to donate material items, I will post a list tomorrow of what they and Muñeca can use. It takes a frontera! We are El Pawso Strong! ⭐️

Venezuelan Luna’s reunion with her family in Brooklyn after being taken from at the border in April…
Here’s Luna’s Reunion with her family in Brooklyn, after traveling with them for months from Venezuela and then taken from them at our border in April. Moments like this make all our efforts here at Bridge Pups Rescue so worthwhile. And we’ll keep fighting until we get a Federal policy put in place for families just like Luna’s who would never leave their furry family members behind.
Forever grateful to Carlos @menchaca for flying Luna to NY. 🙏🏽❤️
Venezuelan Mini
Venezuelan Mini Deisy has been pulled from El Paso Animal Services where she was vaccinated and taken great care of while we secured a foster. Mini needs a ride to Clearwater, Florida from El Paso so if you’re heading that way, please let us know! Thank you to her wonderful new foster Chris for taking her in!
