After weeks of posting about the poor pup who was living on the hot streets near Old Sheepdog Brewery, we have yet to get even one foster offer for him. He’s still at Spa for Paws but his free stay ends on Tuesday. This pup is vaccinated and he’ll be neutered asap. He does wonderfully with other pups, and we can provide food and supplies. Can’t anyone let sweet Bock stay in their home, even temporarily?? If anyone would be willing to sponsor his stay at Spa for Paws, the fee will be $25 per day starting Tuesday. We’ll gladly collect donations for that or you can reach out to them directly.

This beautiful boy is currently at the PDN Bridge but we can’t pick him up because we have nowhere to take him! Corrie is fostering Nacho and our other usual foster Josie has Carmelita. PLEASE consider fostering because there can be no Bridge Pups Rescue without fosters!!!! DM if you can help us!

Good news, bad news, and an urgent plea for even the smallest of donations! Good news first: Carmelita has gained weight and overall is looking much better than the terrible condition we found her in on the streets of Juárez! Thank you to her wonderful foster, our team member Josie! (Carmelita does so wonderfully with pups big and small— she’s got 4 foster siblings! She would love forever siblings!)
Bad news: Carmelita desperately needs surgery for her hip as she’s likely in a world of pain when the pain med injections wear off. We went ahead and scheduled that as well as a spaying in order to only put her under anesthesia once.
The cost of surgery plus her bill for today puts our bill at West Texas Cimarron Canyon Veterinary Clinic at just under $3,000.00. We need HELP, please! Even just a few dollars will help us cover this surgery which she needs so badly and will drastically change her life for the better. ADOPTION ANNOUNCEMENT!!! Precious, sweet Dolores (now “Lola La Flaca”) is officially a foster fail! Seeing this sweet girl go from near death, infested with fleas and ticks, severely emaciated to happy, healthy, and part of a family has been yet another reminder of why we do what we do here at Bridge Pups Rescue! Thank you to all who have been part of Dolores’s journey, especially Candie, Corrie, and my student volunteers. A very special thank you to Jue and family for taking a chance on a Juárez street pup. Ciao friends! I’m back from Italy and back to needing your help to help Bridge Pups in need! Remember this Taco (and Gumbo and Nutello) lookalike who crossed at the PDN Bridge in early June?? He’s since been vaccinated, vetted, and named! We decided to stick with a food theme for him since all his lookalike former Bridge Pups have food-themed names. Everyone, meet NACHO!!!!!!

The pup we posted about 9 days ago desperately hoping to get a foster so we can pull her off the streets near has yet to get a single foster offer. Printz has been going by regularly to give her food and water and she shared that the pup has yet to show any signs of aggression. Please, please, please help us help her by offering her somewhere we can take her. We will get her vaxxed and vetted and provide supplies and food. I’m still in Europe but please message if you can be this pup’s savior.

The latest Bridge Pup got his vaccines and a check up at Vista Hills Animal Hospital yesterday thanks to ! Thank you to all who offered to take him! We haven’t gotten any foster offers yet, so we’re hoping someone might consider opening their hearts and home to this very sweet and affectionate boy. He seems to do great with other pups and the vet said he’s only about 2 years old max. If you can help us help him by fostering, please let us know! Food and supplies will be provided!
