Now that’s how you trot! Watch for Isla and Titan as we pursue her AQHA breed level goals this winter and spring!! She and Titan plan to focus on showmanship, hunter under saddle, and hunt seat eq to start with.

Lisa enjoying Bridgette and helping Isla keep those flying changes smooth and CORRECT!
Muireann
Muireann and Brownie working patterns and western riding. It’s hard enough working with and showing a horse with one eye, but now Brownie has lost all but about 30% of the vision in her good eye. The bond these two share is tangible as Brownie trusts Muireann and listens for her countdown as they approach the lope over pole. We’ve got about a week until state fair! 💪🏼
Bridgette is a pretty finished show horse owned by Lisa and Isla Anderson. She has a few behavioral issues, mostly because she’s a rather mare-ish mare. 😆 We’re gonna see if I can help her be more agreeable while tuning up a few trail and western riding maneuvers before she and Isla compete at the Colorado State Fair!
Lots of fun coaching 4-H members from multiple counties!
Titan
Titan 🏋🏻 and Isla putting in the hard work before County Fair. His lope is really improving. He can slow down some but I love that he stays driving from behind and is so good legged up front. He’s starting to solidify riding one handed too!!
Titan
So proud of Titan and Isla yesterday! The consistency is starting to show.

I got this guy in the fall of his yearling year. He was all my hopes and dreams wrapped up in a cute little roan package. I started him as a two year old and he was EASY! His 3 yr old year was the polar opposite. He reared, kicked people, bit people, bucked, had to be sedated for the farrier……etc. 🤦🏻♀️ Gelding him brought little improvement. This horse is challenging, demands to be the center of attention and often in dangerous ways. He’s broke my elbow, broke my foot, broke my confidence, and broke my will. I essentially left him for nearly two years. Last year I had plans to get to work with him but after a broken leg (not his fault 🙄), a second surgery to remove the hardware 9 months later, and trying to get my training business off the ground, he was back burnered again. This year, I committed to him that he would be put into to training cue just like my client horses. Heidi DeJong, I finally found my “big girl panties”, pulled them up, and I am so proud of this boy and how solid he’s becoming. I never thought my ❤️ horse would be such a 🫏. 😂
Titan
Titan 🏋🏻
His jog is nearly finished and his HUS trot is on point! 🤩 He’s also trying so hard to lope slow and collected by using his core instead of hitching that shoulder. So proud of this big guy!
Gilley
Gilley gets better every time I pull him out. He’s so smooth and super trainable!
He is FOR SALE!
