Yesterday a storm came through and with the storm came cooler weather and a wonderful breeze and the horses were loving it!!!

Special news!!!!
Unfortunately we will no longer be offering Blue Laced Red Wyandotte or Lavender Orpington chicks. I have raised them since 2019 and I believe it's time for a change! An exciting new change!

We have a new breed!
Crested Cream Legbars!
These beautiful chickens lay a beautiful blue egg!
We are so excited for this new change on the farm. So far they're growing out great and if all goes well we will be offering chicks later!

So I'm sure by now everyone has seen all the animals I've been r.e.h.o.m.i.n.g. lately. I've had several people ask if I'm quitting. Well I'm here to explain....

Lately I've been taking a step back and thinking about taking the farm in a different direction. Mainly because I have so many animals and sometimes even though you love them all it can be very stressful to have so many. Especially because I also have a full time job as well as a full time farm.

So I have been slowly deciding and cutting down on several things as well as adding new and exciting animals! I will make a post about that soon so keep an eye out!
But for now I will say I will NOT be quitting as the farm is my life and a part of who I am. I love animals and always will.

One of the things I have made a BIG cut down on is my goats. I have gone from 45 to 11 (all found wonderful homes). I still will be making goat milk products and that will never change because I love doing it and being creative with it! But with that being said I will not be making it on a big scale like I have been because it's just too much but I will be having new and exciting products to come but they will be limited and first come first serve.

I will also still be offering certain animal breeds as well with more on that to come soon. I promise!

But long story short... Don't give up on us! We are not closing. Be on the lookout for some exciting news coming soon!

We are still slowly cutting back on our goat herd. It has been very hard making these decisions. We have just ended up with way too many. These are the ones I've decided on now. These are all my babies and the does have been born and raised on this farm. They've been on a strict worming schedule and get their yearly shots on time. Located in Eldridge Alabama. This girl is my absolute best doe on the milking stand. She jumps up by her self no problem! She'll stand there until you're done and let her go. There have even been times I have forgotten to lock the head catch on her and she still didn't move! She'll hand milk or machine milk. She doesn't care. I absolutely love this girl but unfortunately I have way too many. I will be very picky about where she goes. She is drying up so I could rebreed her. But I will not guarantee her bred.
