🌟 **Quinn** is our little superstar! With his infectious energy and eagerness to learn, he’s mastering the art of engagement and positive reinforcement. It’s incredible to see how quickly he’s picking up new skills! Did you know that Rottweilers are known for their intelligence and loyalty? Quinn is proving that every day! 🧠💪

💪 Next up is **Titan**, our handsome hunk! This big guy is making waves with his Cooperative Care training for veterinary exams. We’re thrilled to share that during his last exam in October, he did NOT require injectable sedation—something that has always been necessary in the past! 🎉 This is a huge milestone for Titan, which was successfully accommodated by the incredible Veterinarians, assistants and technicians at Eastern Shore Animal Hospital. Rottweilers are not just strong; they’re also incredibly resilient and adaptable! 🐕❤️

And let’s not forget about **Josie**, our very own ball inventory supervisor! 🎾 She’s been working hard on her social skills and reactivity, and we’re so proud of her progress! Rottweilers are known for their protective nature, but with the right training, they can also be the most loving companions. Josie is proving that, as she learns to navigate her social interactions with confidence! 🐾

🐾 **Transformation Tuesday: From Puppy to Powerhouse!** 🐾

We can hardly believe how much our boy Kai has grown! From a tiny puppy to a strong 95lbs, his journey has been nothing short of amazing! 🐶💪

When Kai first joined our family, he was just a bundle of energy and curiosity. Fast forward to today, and he’s not only filled out into a magnificent dog, but he’s also made incredible strides in his training at ABTK9. His progress has been remarkable—he’s learned commands, improved his obedience, and developed fantastic social skills with both humans and other dogs.

Watching Kai transform has been a joy! His dedication and enthusiasm during training sessions are truly inspiring. He’s gone from a playful pup to a well-mannered companion, and we couldn’t be prouder of him!

Beginning Friday, February 28th ABTK9 will host our first monthly meeting for our K.I.D.S Program: Kids Interacting with Dogs Safely. 🦮

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our K.I.D.S program! 🐾 This unique initiative is designed to teach children about dog behavior, body language, and how to safely interact with our furry friends.

✨ No need to own a dog to participate! ✨

Our program features monthly meetings where kids will:

Happy Enrichment Sunday! 🎃🐾 Lexi enjoyed her Enrichment session today where she created a delicious masterpiece. The key to a happy and healthy dog is regular enrichment and allowing them to engage in their innate behaviors, such as playing, chasing, smelling, chewing and scavenging. By allowing your dog to engage in these behaviors, you allow them to be physically, emotionally and mentally satisfied. Dogs who don’t receive stimulation tend to find ways to enrich themselves, resulting in unwanted behaviors.

🐾 Join our Recall Workshop starting October 5th and enhance your dog's recall skills through engaging games and training exercises. Our trainer will guide you and your dog in a limited-availability class, ensuring personalized attention. Learn practical strategies and force-free techniques to maintain your dog's recall over time. 🐾 Classes will be held every Saturday at 11 AM for four consecutive weeks, with makeup classes available.
