As humans we tend to focus on the outcome instead of the journey. With horses our focus should be the journey and ensure it did not cost our horse anything to reach the outcome. THEN we will produce a horse with a relaxed mind and a hell of a lot of try. Horsemanship over showmanship.

A few weeks ago we had our End of Season Lesson Party. Our third and biggest year yet! All of our lesson students learned so much about riding, horses, and Horsemanship. We attended many events and shows and brought home money and ribbons as a product of their hard work and we had 4 fully packed summer camps! New relationships were formed and a couple of students moved to the next step of purchasing their own horse! I was so thankful and honored to be able to help with that process. Here are just a few pictures of our adventures.

Carson, working on staying on his tracks with his new horse Reno that he will be taking home tomorrow!

We are so proud of Carson. About a yearor so ago he had never rode a horse. He has worked hard at lessons, attended and volunteered at camp and went to some shows. Now he is enjoying the fruits of his labor with his nice paint horse!

Meet Marshmallow🐴
She is a 3yr old thoroughbred in for a 90 day start. She has a really good mind and loves to please. First ride video will be posted soon! I look forward to working this young mare and seeing her progress.

What a beautiful day to ride a horse 😍☀️

This student has been learning how to navigate her horse confidently at a walk and we are so proud of her progress! We are learning how to turn as well as be able to keep our horse straight.

Frankie went home after 30 days of handling. When he came in he was very reactive and pushy and could hardly be handled. I set his future up for success by getting him easy to handle, good with his feet, seen by farrier, lightly saddled, easily haltered, and a true gentleman to be around. I hope to see Frankie in a couple of years to be started. Babies are my favorite!

Meet Reno!
I took Reno in for a tune up and in search of a new home to live to the fullest for the rest of his life. Reno will be taking care of a young boy for his first horse after taking riding lessons with us for almost 2 years! It's a surprise so ssshhhhh 😉🤠🐴

We look forward to this step forward on being a lesson student to owning his own horse!

Frankie the yearling is coming along really nice. He is a very sweet boy who now aims to please. When he came in he was very reactive and showed some aggressive traits. When you build a relationship with a horse you can do anything with them. Frankie will be doing the in hand trail class at the next horse show.

Meet Frankie!!!!
Frankie is a yearling c**t out of racing stock. Frankie is here for a good yearling foundation- haltering, learning to stand tied, learning to follow a feel, picking up his feet, being soft, backing up, standing good for the farrier, and learning how to lead. I will be working with him on accepting a saddle also. Frankie has made all the rebellious attempts a typical unhandled yearling would- rearing, striking out, biting, kicking, you name it. He has made tremendous progress in just a few days.
