My name is Ashley Wiggins. I am originally from VT but relocated south a few years ago. I spent a couple of years in NC before buying land and a house in Southern Mississippi.

I started riding when I was a little later in life (20) when my aunt gifted me a Draft Cross mare. I spent years training her and eventually ended up doing LD Endurance riding with her because she loved trails.

I decided to further my education after getting her so added Equine Science to my college course load and attended Vermont Technical College. While at VTC I rode with a variety of different instructors and rode western pleasure, hunters, and dressage.

Upon graduation I got my old man Dazzle who I did English shows and dipped my toes into gaming and barrel racing. I eventually bought my main mount as a two year old and sent dazzle to give jumping lessons to young riders (which he loved). He eventually made his forever/retirement home with one of them.

I still have Chancey, she is retired in the field with her mini, and Okie, my main man. I train horses and compete in barrel racing. I love to travel with my horses and dogs. This season we have joined BBR, NBHA, and compete in a few local series. I am hoping to add a second mount to my team as well.

Okie is very sensitive about his face (has been since I got him as a two year old). I have tried a large variety of bits and always had an issue with him throwing his head when the bit grabbed him in a turn. The only bit that he didn’t do it with was a lumis. Even had the same struggle in hackamores. I started studying my videos trying to see if it was something I was doing and what I started to see was it happened as soon as the curb chain hit. I saw your Boca ball curbs and a few videos of people using similar so I decided to give them a shot. They have been a hit. He rides around with his head down and is so much smoother in his turns. Loved them so much I even put them on my Christmas list this year 😂

My name is Kayla Somero, I am from New Ipswich New Hampshire. I have been barrel racing for over 10 years now and have started most of the horses I’ve owned! This year I recently obtained my APRA permit and my goal for the 2025 season is to get to as many rodeos as I can to start filling it!
My main horse Echo I just got in June of 2024 and was started by my good friend. She has so much growing to do but is already making her mark, she is truly amazing!
I also started breakaway roping and my horse Daisy and I are really learning together. I have taught her everything she knows and she is going to make an amazing roping horse in time. My goal for her this summer is to enter at least one event.

Hi!
My name is Brooklynn Miller. I am 14 years old and I live in Craftsbury Vermont.
I started out riding English when I was eight years old. I had my first show in September 2019 where I then joined the Vermont Horse Show Association with my coach. In 2021 I competed in the junior division at just 12 years old competing against 16-year-olds. My horse dazzle, and I ended with the year-end champion in the pleasure division.
With some heartache of losing my heart horse and draining medical issues, I made the switch to western. In 2022 with the support of friends and their horses, I entered some small local gymkhanas. I ended 2023 winning a belt buckle in the youth division. I fell in love with the community, the speed and the adrenaline that comes along with chasing cans.
My family decided I need my own barrel horse. We searched high and low, an old friend helped me find my mare Cardi in May 2024. We clicked right away, but we have plenty of room to improve.
This summer will be full of learning and growth for Cardi and I, but we are ready to put in the hard work. I am looking forward to the 2025 summer. My goal is to attend bigger shows all over New England.
This mare gives me her all every time I throw my leg over her back. She owes me nothing, and I truly owe her everything.

Hope everyone is having a great month!

Just wanted to jump on here and talk about something really quick Becuase it is important.

There are a lot of people who are making and selling these curb chains and that is awesome there’s room enough for everyone! Now the bad part. 99.9% of those I see selling curbs on Facebook do not clamp them correctly on the ends. There is a very specific way these clamps are meant to crimp down.

I know this from experience, when I first started I had several break. Why? Becuase I didn’t clamp them right. And I either refunded or remade them at my expense becuase that was my fault! It’s dangerous. Expecially when you’re riding or running as a lot of people rely on a curb to help the bit stabilize and function correctly.

This is not a post to say everyone else is bad and I’m the best This is simply an information post to pay attention to how they are crimped. I do not want anyone getting hurt. If you have bought one of mine you can see how they are suppose to be crimped, and they are all weight tested I can hook them to a post and they will support my full body weight. The ones that aren’t crimped right may hold for a short time but they will eventually break.

Orders are back open! I have quite a few that are pre made that I will post near the end of the week!
