This Dovii Cichlid is under a year old and is about 5” today. She will double in size in 1 year. She is currently in a community cichlid aquarium of 150 gallons.

Coptodon kottae (formerly kottae) is an endangered species of fish in the cichlid family, Cichlidae. It is endemic to Lake Barombi-ba-Kotto and the smaller nearby Lake Mboandong in the Southwest Region of Cameroon.
I’ve successfully bred them and here is a clip of a couple dozen fry growing out.

This fish is called Copodone Kottae. They are currently under an inch. There are some distinct patterns and size different between male and female.
