Can dogs with missing tails, ears, or eyes compete in AKC conformations shows? It depends. Can they win? Yes!
We strive to produce quality dogs that are proven, health tested, and that have a good temperament.

Would love to formally introduce the newest member of the pack, Sugar. ๐ She will be the next dog we will be showing and participating in dog sports. She came from Liberty siberians, her breeder being from a good friend and mentor, Kenedi Wrezzes. Her name has been in the works but have been leaning on Liberty of Natures Sugar Maple ๐๐ Since she of course had to be named after a tree.
Can't wait to see what this girl can do!
Be prepared to see Sugar and Honey in the ring, as the crazy sweet duo!!! ๐๐
Just want to let everyone know on a couple updates. First is that Monty is no longer available and that he has found his forever home.
Next I want to say some very exciting news. Last month Honey finished her UKC championship and even got a leg towards her grand championship before she even became a year old! I couldn't be more proud of her and all of her achievements!
Thank you again to Tricia who brought this sweet sassy girl into my life ๐ฅฐ
I realize that I haven't let everyone know of Honey's achievements. She has been excelling in the show ring and has gotten her international junior champion, national Junior champion and honors junior champion titles at the international dog show in November. She also got a 5 point major at only 6 months old at the sioux falls dog show in October. She got best of winners, best of opposite, winning over specials and got owner handler under judge Elizardo Valadez! Even though she has been in her funny teenage stage, she has been doing great and couldn't be more proud. She has awesome breeders standing behind her and got great mentors helping us every step of the way. ๐๐ฅฐ๐๐๐
Meet Monty he is a 1 year old akc male siberian husky who is available and looking for a new home.
He was brought back to us due to no fault of his own. The Previous owner didn't give him enough stimulating from working long hours with his job change. He needs a home that will have time for him and actually put the effort to train and bond with him. We haven't had any issues with him since he came back to us. Good with kids, other dogs and would be best in a home with another dog for companionship. He is crate trained as well. Has distemper, leptospirosis, rabies and bordetella vaccine and is neutered. He is very sweet very calm when introduced to new stimuli and is good on a leash. He is a couch potato and just wants to cuddle on the couch. Parents are health tested and titled.
He was the one surprised wooly in the litter and one of the reasons why Willow will not be bred again. We don't wish to get woolys ( longer coat type) as it is a fault in the breed and is a fault as it can effect them for what they are bred to do. Their softer dense coat makes it to where it holds snow and can make them colder which can effect them pulling a sled as they will get colder quicker and not handle harsh temperatures. Given our goal for our program we want dogs that are structurely sound and excel on the trails. Even though he was a suprise he really is the sweetest boy that is wanting a home of his own and deserves all the treats and love. We thought this would be a chance to get him out there as well as us showing honesty and transparency with our goals and some of the changes we made in our program. ๐ค๐
Last weekend Honey had her first AKC show and did great! We got group 2 on Saturday and group 3 on Sunday. Couldn't be more proud! Can't wait to see how she does this weekend in Lake Elmo ๐๐ฅฐ
I realize I haven't posted Honey's achievements on the page. At the Sisu Dog Sporting club of Northern Minnesota Honey had taken got Reserve novice puppy with judge Nancy Eilks and got best in show novice puppy with judge Mary Ellen Meyer!!!
I'm am beyond proud of Honey as that was her second day in the ring and was so surprised when the judges selected us among some good looking pups.
I am very much thankful to Tricia and Kenedi for picking out this sweet girl! And super thankful to Tricia for trusting me with one of her pups and helping me so much along the way. This is only the start of her showing journey and I can't wait to see what happens next. ๐งก
I'm glad my neighbor helps exercise the dogs ๐๐คฃ
Got a good photo of Buckeye and Willow together. ๐๐
Little Honey ๐ฅฐ
Glad to announce that Honey passed her OFA eye exam with flying colors! ๐ฅณ๐ Our next goal is going to be practicing stacking and getting her used having her feet and mouth messed with. Once she is fully vaccinated we plan to take her to Conformation classes. So excited to see her mature and to see how she will do in the ring. ๐ฅฐ๐
Also a big thank you to Tricia for helping me through this journey and letting me work with this beautiful pup.
As we are starting over and making some changes to our program, we are announcing our new pack member. Everyone this is Honey, she will be a dog that we will plan to show and breed in the future. We have lots of plans for her to show, do fast cat and to hopefully work her in harness as well. ๐งก๐พ
Introducing Tevana's N' Nature's Honey Locust
As time goes on we plan to add more members to show and work in harness in the future. ๐ฅฐ๐
Okay so I would like to announce of few things going on in our program. First is that sadly Buckeye will be retired as a breeder from our program. This has been such a sad loss as we were able to make him a ukc champion and had so many things planned for him. The reason he will be retiring is because he did not end up passing his ofa eye testing. Things got complicated with his breeder but are thankfully all situated now after dealing with this issue for months. The big question is what will happen to Buckeye now? As of now nothing has been decided as I truly love this dog but I want to pursue showing and doing more for my kennel in the future. For now he will stay with us until we make a true decision as this isn't an easy choice to make. There will be some changes that will happen in the future and we will be pursuing showing more with better quality dogs and lines. As of now we will not be breeding anymore this year as we wish to do more dog activities and focus on getting more titles on our dogs.
I'm so happy that little Bufflehead has found his forever home ๐ค He is just so sweet and loving and it was sad to see everyone over look him. He just needed the right family to come alongโค๐คโค
I am pleased to announce little Teal has found a home of her own! She will now be called waffle ๐ง I will truly miss this sweet girl.
Did some bikejoring with the dogs. They did fantastic and only had a couple mishaps. ๐
These cuties are still available. ๐๐ค they are fully vaccinated for rabies, distemper, leptospirosis and bord. They are close to being fully crate trained they know sit and come as well, been working on leave it and laying down . Parents fully health tested and titled. Their price has been dropped to help them find homes. ๐พ
These pups are still available. Teal is the grey and white female and Bufflehead is the agouti male. Will come with puppy pack and limited akc registration. Puppies have their 3rd round of distemper shots, bordetella vaccine and are dewormed their f***l came back negative. ๐๐ค๐
Happy to say little Mallard has found a home of his own. ๐๐๐
Copied from another breeder:
POTENTIAL OWNER: How much is the puppy?
BREEDER: $3,500
POTENTIAL OWNER: What?? It's way too expensive!!
BREEDER: What do you think would be a good price?
POTENTIAL OWNER: No more than $500. You breeders are so over priced.
BREEDER: I am sorry you see it this way, why don't you try it yourself?
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I've never done it!
BREEDER: For FREE I can teach you how to do it, and in addition you will have the knowledge to do it again.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Perfect, thank you!
BREEDER: To start you will need a female(average cost $3000 and up). Also a male(average cost $3000 and up) or semen (average $1000 and up). You will need to show them to their championship to show they meet the breed standard(Minimal $2000 with travel & fees). You will need to do genetic & health testing on them, averages about $750 per dog. Raise and provide daily care, feeding & grooming for 2 years. (So minimal $150 per month)
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have that much money...
BREEDER: For $500 you can raise a liter and then keep one of the puppies. Obviously, you will pay the cost of whelping & care.
POTENTIAL OWNER: I can do that.
BREEDER: OK so I have a female due to whelp in 2 weeks. You will need to be available 24/7 around the clock for at least 8 weeks to help with delivery and care.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Eight weeks?? it's way too much time for me! I have to work.
BREEDER: You will also need the reproductive vet to do xrays($200-$500), possibly progesterone testing($75-$250) & C-section($1000-$5000) and initial vet care on pups until old enough to be placed.
Have on hand a scale, thermometer, latex gloves, sanitizer, absorbent tissues, scissors, hemostats, heating pad, whelping box, blankets, cleaning supplies, appropriate food with supplements for mothers, formula, medications & hand feeding supplies in case of emergency....
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have all these things!
BREEDER: For $1000 you can buy them.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Ummm .... You know, I think it might be better if I just buy a puppy.
BREEDER: Wise decision.
For us breeders there are no vacations or holidays, while you go to visit with family & friends we are home at our dogs side caring for them. It is a no breaks commitment.
THIS IS THE REALITY
When you choose a professional you don't only pay for the puppy but also:
Tools, knowledge, experience, love, time, sacrifices, etc...
Going to be at a 4 day show starting tomorrow. Hopefully Buckeye will finish and get his UKC championship title! We are also planning to go to an international show in April. Big things are planned for him. ๐๐ฅฐ๐
Still got these 3 pups available. Dewormed, has second set of vaccines and will come with puppy pack. They are already learning sit and are learning to go outside to go to the bathroom. The agoutis are males and the grey and white is a female. ๐๐๐๐ค
Goldeneye is no longer available and has found his forever home. We still have Mallard and Bufflehead available. ๐๐ค
Tried to get some photos of them playing. They move too quick for the camera but luckily I was able to get these photos when they stood still long enough ๐คฃ๐
Got photos of the pups with their eyes open ๐ฅฐ๐๐๐
The babies are starting to open their eyes! ๐
Happy 3rd birthday to Willow! You have been an amazing dog and an amazing mother, I couldn't ask for a better companion ๐๐๐
Mallard is not sure how to feel about the dewormer ๐
I might have gotten carried away but look how cute they are. ๐ฅฐ๐๐
Cleaned their bedding and Teal is very upset about it. ๐ก๐ ๐คฃ
