We welcomed a new salon member! Our groomer, Alexis, added “Bugs” the Sealyham Terrier to her pack!

We knew she was getting a Sealyham soon, so when our window was done we requested they be represented! Alexis will compete in conformation, grooming shows and other dog sports with Bugs! We love him so much already & are excited that Alexis is helping to preserve a rare breed!

I'm so proud of my team for coming in on a weekend to attend a CPR and Safety certification class! A huge thank you to Amy Triezenberg for traveling to teach and certify us. While many of my team members were already certified, we believe in renewing our skills every 2 years to stay sharp and prepared. In the event of an emergency, it's crucial that everyone knows what to do - and with our team's up-to-date training, we can all respond confidently and effectively.

This comprehensive class not only covers CPR but also essential safety measures, which is vital for our line of work. As groomers, we use sharp tools on moving animals, and accidents can happen. Although we take every precaution to prevent them, we're trained to know how to respond if something goes wrong. I'm grateful that my team is committed to prioritizing your pet's safety and well-being in our salon.

What sets us apart is our dedication to continuing education and safety protocols. Unlike many other fields, grooming is unlicensed, which means anyone can start a salon without proper training or expertise. But we take pride in our commitment to excellence and safety. We're not perfect, but we're always striving to improve and provide the best possible care for your furry friends.
