Hello everyone! Just a friendly reminder to follow the rules of the park. They're located at the entrance of the park. There ARE hours to be followed. The park is open from dawn-dusk. This is a citywide law for most parks in Elko. Please ensure that when the sun begins to set that you are leaving the park. There should be no one at the park after dark.

🚨 IMPORTANT INFORMATION 🚨

Hey everyone! We just want to inform everyone that a small hole in the small dog area along the fence line that runs next to the freeway. The Parks Dept. Is working on a temporary fix until the section can be replaced due to the damage. They ask for patience while the responsible party makes repairs to the fence. As always, we ask that dog owners pay attention to their dogs while enjoying the dog park, especially in the small dog area until a permanent fix can be made.
Thank you to our new member for reporting this issue so that it can be addressed. Keep enjoying the park with those pooches!

Exciting news! The city is currently working to get the double gate entry and the privacy fence up for the Dog Park! That being said posts will be getting put in today, please leave these posts alone so that the concrete can stay for a few days!

Hey y’all! So some of our bench donations fell through so we only have 1 donated as of right now! We are hoping to get 6 total so we are reaching out again to see if anyone is interested in donating. They include the laser cut name in the back rest on the bench for donor recognition.

Elko City Dog Park Community: lately we have been getting a lot of requests for meet ups for certain breeds at the Dog Park. Anyone is welcome to plan a meet up any day you want, but keep in mind the park does not close to others during these planned events. To advertise a certain day and time, you can either put together a flyer and message us to post it, or you can post in the posts tab section to let others know.
