The process of becoming a German Shepherd breeder has showed me time and time again how to handle disappointment and bad luck.

After two times of trying to breed India to outside studs and that not working out, I was so excited to finally be able to get a breeding done without the stress of traveling. When India came into heat a little more than two months ago we tried for a natural breeding but eventually had to resort to A.I. We where very excited to finally have a litter on the way and India was showing signs of pregnancy. But as her due date got closer I noticed she wasn’t looking any thicker and then her due date came and went. I believe she has false pregnancy because she is mothering my kitten but that’s nothing to be concerned about.

Our B litter with Brick and India is postponed again until spring of 2023.

Beautiful Brick LOVES the snow... Me, not so much.

Brick has such a strong Czech look, I can’t wait to see what his babies will look like. I really need to work on getting some stacked photos of his to really show off his beautiful structure.

New addition Brick! Brick is a gorgeous black sable Czech working line German Shepherd, he is OFA certified Good hips and Normal elbows. He is a proven stud and sire to our up coming B litter! He has an excellent temperament and I have high hopes for him and his future pups.

Learning to deal with the disappointment of failed breedings and of litters that don’t turn out well, I guess it’s all part of being a breeder.
My time will come eventually, nobody gets a perfect start.

This is Banshee! She is a puppy from Haven's litter, she is happy, confident, stable, high energy and very athletic. She was in a pet home and hasn't been worked with (on grips) since six weeks but at almost six months old, she shows nice barking, great drive, intenseity, full grips, awesome possession, and joy for working.

India is DM clear/normal and Laylah is a DM carrier/not affected.

Laylah vom Berk Haus! She is a Czech working line German Shepherd. She is sired by V Qvido Vepeden 2X WUSV WORLD CHAMPION IPO3, 4X WUSV, 4X UMM ČKNO Kkl 1 and her dam Duffy Rapax Bohemia BH IPO I & 2 and ZZV 1.

My goal is to get her a C.G.C and BH in the summer.

This is India vom Berk Haus! She is from Czech working lines with a little bit of DDR mixed in. Her parents are Al Capone Seahawk BH IPO 1 2 & 3 and Tyran z Jirkova Drova.

When she passes all of her health tests she will be bred to a fully health tested stud.
