Lapinski Union is a gorgeous, nearly 16.2 hand, bay gelding that arrived to us in partnership with New Start for Horses at Penn National. Lapinski raced 13 times and retired after several less than competitive starts in a row, which is great because he retired sound!

Lapinski is by Union Rags and out of a Flatter mare and is total class. So much so that he sold for $220,000 as a yearling! This good boy had a terrific intake evaluation with our vet and is clean and very sound. He can go in any direction without any known limitations!

This sweet boy has finished his let down time and is ready to go back to work. We've only had a couple rides on him so far but he was very straightforward and easy going in the round pen. He's ready for more!

Lapinski is good in turnout with other horses, has no vices, and is ready to rock and roll!

Currently located in Oxford, PA:

Run Rose Run is a 3 year old, 15 hand, very dark bay filly, who came to us in partnership with Beyond the Wire. She is by Divining Rod and out of a Cowboy Cal mare. This means she's a granddaughter of Tapit as well! She is still in rehab but eligible for our Recover at Home program if someone wanted to adopt her sooner!

A sesamoid injury was the reason for her retirement from training around the first of May, 2024. It was an apical sesamoid fracture which has the best prognosis! She's been sound and healing very well since arrival and meeting our vet's expectations. She's currently being turned out in our round pen with our companion pony and absolutely loves her outdoor time.

Rose is an incredibly cool, quiet-minded, sweet, easy-going mare. Every single volunteer, employee, and visitor that meets her falls in love with her. She is brave but also just so happy to interact with people or her handler when being worked with.

She has no vices and is not expected to have hard limitations when she finishes her rehabilitation. While her old fracture may deter resellers or upper level professionals, both our vet and a consulting surgeon believe she'll even be able to have a career jumping if that's what her adopter likes to do.

She has such a nice brain though she could really go in any direction and do well.

Available in Oxford, PA:

Singular is a 3 year old, 16.2 hand, bay gelding who came to us directly from his wonderful racing connections. Singular is unraced but was in training this year and his most recent timed workout is from mid-June. At that point he retired after a small tendon strain.

Singular is by Street Boss and out of a Silver Train mare. This means he is a grandson of Street Cry (IRE) and descendant of Ogygian, Lemon Drop Kid, Kingmambo and others. He's definitely a solidly built gelding at just 3 years of age and seems to carry a lot of class. We're sure it helps he was with the best connections his entire life before arriving at ATR!

Singular had a great intake evaluation with our vet. A recent ultrasound of his (SDFT) tendon showed some enlargement and fiber disruption but no core lesions (which is great!). He was also sound!

As of August, Singular has been cleared for turnout and is doing well with two other geldings. He's playful but not pushy or dominant. Just a good boy. He has an excellent prognosis with no long-term limitations, but does need more turnout time before going back to work.

So far Singular has been wonderful to handle and work with. He has a great, fun personality and no vices. He is currently barefoot, and will make someone a very nice horse!

Located in Oxford, PA. Two Room School is READY FOR A HOME!

Two Room School is a 16 hand, 4 year old, chestnut gelding that came to us in partnership with Aftercare Charles Town. He is by Aldrin and out of a Fantasticat mare. This mean he has Malibu Moon on the top of his pedigree, and Storm Cat on the bottom. We've had quite a few Malibu Moon offspring lately so he has some cousins in the barn certainly!

"Roo," was an average runner and retired with one of the simplest injuries: a cracked shin. We will take horses with cracked shins in any day of the week! He arrived sound in May in great shape, after a recent castration, and his rehab is complete. This GORGEOUS boy is ready to go to work!

Roo has no vices. He goes out with geldings and can definitely be on the playful side! Recent radiographs looked great and he's ready to go to work whenever someone is ready to get on him! We haven't had a chance yet just as we've been dealing with a move.

Two Room School has no expected limitations on his future and is available now to someone who enjoys restarting a horse themselves. He should make a very fancy sport horse or show horse if that's your goal!
