Three celebration cakes today. Leah is celebrating her buddy, Buster, on his first gotcha day🎂 But she couldn't leave out her other buddy, Percy, so she gets and I love you cake❤️ and Amelia is celebrating her buddy Mango, on a 1st birthday🎂 Lucky pups indeed😀

Good Friday morning. Just in time for the weekend, wanted to share a post about new items in the shop. So excited to add my seventh take-home bagged item. Introducing peanut butter crunch nuggets; nutrition is at 12 cal per treat, so could be used as a training treat. Remember, my take-home treats are priced at $9.90 a bag so I value to begin with. Purchase two and you save 10% on each bag. Purchase three or more and save 15% on each bag. I love controlling the recipe and cost so that I can pass the savings onto you😀 Next I have a line of SPOT PlayStrong Scent-stations durable chews. Bacon or peanut butter scent in two sizes😀 I've added a new value size of Gunni's whole herring. GivePet treats are so popular in the store and they just launched two new treats for your feline buddy. Finally, I have two new stainless water dispensers, sized appropriately for both dogs and cats. Finally a new white washed raised pet bowl set. We've got a couple of 90° + days so keep your buddy hydrated and cooled❤️ See you at the barkery😀

PLEASE HELP! We are sad to say that we are currently closed for intakes. We have a record high of animals in our care (over 40) and a record low in donations this month. We are concerned that we won’t be able to adequately care for the animals we already have taken in, and we don’t want to risk not giving them the best care. Plus we have a kitten at emergency care in Redmond that is costing $6,000 to treat. This is the first time in more than two years of operating that we have had to make a post like this, and we are very sorry we have to. If you can, PLEASE help us by donating even just a small amount so we can resume intakes and continue helping the sick and troubled animals we already have. Mr. T is in critical condition at Veterinary Emergency Group in Redmond this morning. This 7-month-old kitten’s electrolytes are dangerously out of wack - the biggest concern being his extremely low potassium levels which could effect his heart or brain. He also has a UTI that may have spread to other parts of his body. The vets are concerned this may all have been caused by a congenital condition in his kidneys - but can’t confirm yet.

The good news is Mr. T is pissy about all this poking and prodding. He is a fighter and we pity the fool who incurs his wrath. The nurses put a photo of the other Mr. T on his cage as an homage to his namesake and as you can see there is a striking resemblance.

While we are so extremely grateful for the excellent care he’s getting by the A-team at VEG Redmond, the vet bill is over $5000 and we desperately need help paying it. Every dollar helps us fight for this little dude and is greatly appreciated.

Good Thursday afternoon. It's just about that time of year, celebrating Independence Day🇺🇸 Which many people like to do with fireworks, nothing wrong with that. Except that fireworks can be terrifying for your canine and feline buddy's. At the barkery, the most popular line of CBD products for pets is Pet Releaf, one of the original CBD for pets companies. The fine folks at Pet Releaf have put out a guide to preparing pets for July 4. I have a copy in the shop for you to look over but I will be posting excerpts of the guide over the next couple of weeks. Happy birthday to our Queen and CEO, Josie, who turns 8 years-old-today! She enjoyed a beautiful cake from her favorite person Tim at Buddy's Barkery that was designed to match her new birthday tutu! In honor of her 8th birthday, Josie is asking everyone to donate $8 to the ranch so we can help more animals wounded in body and spirit. Josie herself is a rescue dog, saved just one hour before she was scheduled to be euthanized. She can't imagine all the other doggos who may not get birthdays because they don't have someone to help them!
