Urgent plea for help! **In desperate need of fosters!**

We've been contacted about these two sweet babies needing a place to land after their human passed away, and they were left to fend for themselves outside. Neighbors have been feeding them but can't take them in due to severe cat allergies & dogs that see them as prey. Let's get them in before winter really sets in! 🥶😿 We are ready & willing to take them but need a foster & funds.

Jippy went to his vet appointment yesterday! He was a little nervous but all purrs. The vet stated Jippy has ocular adhesion on both eyes from past untreated eye infections & ulcers caused most likely by feline herpes virus, and the right eye has corneal ulcers. The vet agreed to try the eye treatment, blood eye serum. The vet is hopeful his left eye, though vision blurred, can stay intact as long as no apparent discomfort shows. The vet was concerned that his right eye may need to be removed if no improvement and if chronic ulceration may occur. We are going to see how he responds to a 5 day treatment. If any positive response, Jippy will go back to the vet next week for more eye serum to further his progress!🤞❤️

Jippy's vet visit wasn't all too frightening. He was enticed with 2 churu treats as they drew his blood. After giving blood like a champ, he impatiently asked for the rest of the churu treats!😅 See pics of Pippy's vet trip. Just look at how he poses for the camera! He's just perfectly imperfect.❤️

Gypsy (formerly known as Boston) is our little mischievous, loveable goof. This s***ky doll came to us from a kill shelter as an owner surrender. Sadly, this happens all too often.💔Gypsy was very spicy and nervous being in such a new and loud environment, but once with us, she tamed her spice levels to just a mischievous little s***k!

Gypsy is such a lover, wanting to be at your side constantly. She enjoys monitoring feeding times, ensuring you're preparing meals correctly. 😅 Her mischievous nature urges her to turn off the lights for a little giggle or just for attention. This bright-eyed joy will not be ignored! Gypsy will entice you to adore her with her playful chirps, doe-eyes, and gentle paw taps as she reaches for hugs. Gypsy, you have bewitched us, heart and soul. Will you be her heart, and adopt?!

Gypsy is good with calm dogs and calm cats but will do well as a single queen of the house!

Good golly Miss Molly! You sure are a treat! This gentle, kind hearted black beauty is ready to come home with you. All she wants for Christmas is you!!! Molly is an expert snuggle bug, the sweetest cat, an absolute joy. Did we mention also a s***ky and curious extrovert? She's ready to come hang out on your lap, enjoying quiet evenings at home with her human/s, but she enjoys some fun social gatherings as well! Quite the attention seeker. 5yrs old and as spry as a teen, ready to play and explore. Yes, what a bright-eyed delight!

Darling Molly found herself in a high kill shelter when her owner passed away, and her family surrendered her and two others, Ginger and Bella. Ginger and Bella were adopted together shortly after, but Molly is still here, dreaming of her very own family to be her true forever! Be her hero and happily-ever-after?💕

Thankful for our past & present Military Veterans!

Did you know that cats are soothing & beneficial for people with anxiety and or PTSD? Their purrs (and the act of petting them) release oxytocin, the bonding hormone which reduces anxiety & creates calm. Their purrs can also help quiet the mind, as you focus on the sounds. They also stimulate the release of endorphins, which can be helpful in reducing pain.

Dogs have long been touted for their abilities to reduce depression. Did you know that one of the biggest ways dogs help depression is through walks? It's super important for both you & your furry friend to get out & grab some fresh air & sunshine. Dogs also offer comfort, provide distractions from anxious thoughts, and also release oxytocin - that sweet feeling bonding hormone.

Share for Jippy!🩵 (warning graphic pics)

Poor Jippy came to us with rough eyes. 😞 He has ulcers and possible scarring. We do know that he can see, because he zooms to you for affection and loves chasing toys. Though, his vision is clearly impaired, Jippy sees nothing but love and happiness. This darling 11 month old boy is full of purrs, zoomies, and cuddles. What a sweet soul!!!

He has a vet appointment next week on November 14th. In the meantime, Jippy will receive eye antibiotics to help alleviate any discomfort. We are hoping to see if he is a good candidate for serolube, a blood eye serum used to treat difficult eye damage. The blood serum has vital nutrients and healing properties that can sometimes almost repair even the worst of eye damage if caught early enough. It has worked wonders for many cats, and it is a chance for darling Jippy!

Meredith Grey, a shy darling in need of a patient forever home. This beautiful soul went overlooked in a shelter due to being too frightened in a loud shelter. She was previously adopted from the shelter, but the adopters weren't the right fit and didn't understand that timid darlings need time and patience to blossom into their wonderful personalities.

Since Meredith has been with us, she has been quite the perky, s***ky goofball! She's an affectionate princess, just slow to warm up. BUT once warmed up, she's your little shadow. Meredith Grey is an absolute doll who is just as quirky as can be! She's quite a mischievous s***k and quite loves to follow you around during chores, begging for pets. This delicate wall flower simply needs one-on-one time and lots of patience to earn your trust and to fully blossom into the loving lap-cat that she was born to be! She's great with dogs and cats as long as they are calmer souls. Meredith Grey most definitely seeks a calmer home-life.

Her kitty partner from the shelter that she came from is Darwin. Darwin and Meredith Grey both were at the shelter together, frightened and confused by all the noise. They cuddled one another for comfort and love. He too is an absolute lovebug but is quite slow to warm up to new people and new environments. It is not required to adopt both together, but these two would make the ultimate dynamic duo of cuddle-bugs! Be their hero and loving home?...

Buddy Valentine needs your shares! Buddy had an adoption appointment, but sadly Buddy was stood up.💔 Don't worry, he's not blue, but he desperately still wants a home of his own.

He is 10 years old and has diabetes which requires a special diet and insulin meds daily. He came to us at the beginning of last year at a whopping 18lbs.😮 He’s been working hard on his summer body all last & this year and is proud of his now 9lb status! What a weight loss journey! (See comments for before & after pics)

Buddy's full of energy, s***k, and a little sass... naturally. 😅 He's good with calm dogs and calm cats. Buddy is quite the independent cat who enjoys following you for extra treats and lounging with you as you watch a movie. Though, not a lap cat, Buddy is a great companion, always inquisitive and a little mischievous.

Pippy won her mom and dad's hearts in 30 seconds with her peppy, loving, social nature. She will be so loved and spoiled. Bonus! Pippy loves dogs and will have a dog brother!🩵

Meet Brandywine! A sweetheart 6 year old girl who was brought into a shelter already fixed, but no owners came forth. 💔 No chip and no way to find her home. The shelter believes that Brandywine was part of a TNR (trap neuter release) colony of cats near the area. Darling Brandywine was sick with calicivirus(a rough kitty cold) and had no appetite. Brandywine is recouped now, eating on her own like a champ, but she desperately needs a loving inside home to call her own! She is far too sweet for the streets!

Brandywine is a gentle, calm soul who loves to lounge and be by your side while she gently makes biscuits and softly purrs. A chin rub is a must, she says! Quiet as a mouse, but so loving. A perfect lady. She is great with other cats and dogs. Her sensitive nature requires a calm, quiet lifestyle. She's not about the hustle and bustle anymore. Those hectic street days are her past. Slow and easy are her cruise settings. Brandywine is fiv+, but this doesn't affect her ability to be with other loving cats or dogs. Can you give this darling girl the home she should have always had? Be her forever...💕

🎉🎊🎉🎊Congratulations to the uber-goober, goofy Gary on finding his forever home today!!!❤️

🚨🩵❤️🚨Update!

Luster, our current FIP warrior, is doing great with treatment. FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) without treatment is fatal. Luster still has 1 1/2 months to go of treatment which means taking meds once daily. Meds cost $100 per week. Costly yes, but that's ok because he's perky, purring, and playful!💜

Luster is such a golden boy! He illuminates the room with his irresistible charm, positivity, and friendliness. He was adopted but returned due to owner moving and not allowed pets at new place. His loving, upbeat nature didn't diminish with this change. He's far too jolly and social to let this bring down his sunny glow!☀️ He's happy to be with any and everyone. So let's be there for him and share, share, share this post.
