On this day, 11 years ago, (also a Saturday) at about the same time as I make this post, Roxie was finishing up delivering her litter of babies. This dude was the only all black male in the litter and I knew then he was a keeper. Happy birthday Tock, you are definitely a unquie and special character. And a big happy birthday going out to his brother and sisters.

Gabriel and Doug Fir are still waiting for their special person or family to realize they need them. Both boys are very loveable and affectionate, full of life and curious about what the world has to offer. Typical Shepherds, they are aloof with strangers, love unconditionally their Sheppie family (and the kitties and younger puppies) and regularly find mischief around the corner. These two fellas will make a great addition to some very fortunate people. Both are standard coat, mostly black with some sabling (Gabriel has the most while Doug Fir has much less). Born December 24, 2023, the sons of Flavio (my all black longcoat import) and Akela (a 4th generation out of KLGS). For more information give me a call at 207-812-6590. Flavio (my all black longcoat import) and McKenzie of Knight's Landing litter born April 11th at two weeks old. McKenzie's bloodline has several notable Shepherds from the Knight's Landing breeding program to include Watson von Athaba, Injac's Rocco, Gomo of Knight's Landing, Arcturus Kamotz of Knight's Landing. Kiara vom Holzwurm, and Olex vom Muhlenweg. While still a little early to know for sure, there are signs that perhaps one of the all blacks and a black & red are going to be longcoats. The Flavio (my all black longcoat import) and McKenzie of Knight's Landing litter arrived today by way of c-section. Momma is tired and recovering and doing well. She had 11 puppies, 7 boys. 4 girls, all black and black & reds. Too early to know if there are any longcoats. A big thank you to Dr. Bither and his outstanding team at Hampden Vet Clinic for taking McKenzie on such short notice and fitting her into your already full day, taking excellent care of McKenzie and her new babies.
