Some puppy updates. Yodis pups hit 6 months on the 1st and May's will be 7 months in a few days. Adding a few extras, from last year's litter.

It's been an eventful summer. No puppies on the horizon, but Yodi has had some great accomplishments. In July, she passed her National Search Dog Alliance (NSDA)Water Human Remains Detection test and in September passed the Land Human Remains Detection Test. Land HRD test consists of searching a vehicle, building, roadway and 2 wilderness parcels and being 100% successful. Water search test is 100 yards of shoreline and a 4 acre boat search. We attended HRD Specialized's seminar on cold case and historic remains detection as well. We have been out on several water searches, one of them helping to locate a drowning victim under 154 feet of water. Well done, my beautiful smart Yodi girl!

Tri State Jack Russell Terrier club trial the Gem State Gemboree was this weekend, between running dogs and worrying about puppies that had major ant bites, I am more exhausted than the dogs, who ran their tails off!
Marvel Lane Jack Russells did a great job and Iden Rye Murphy Magent's progeny are doing us proud!
My girls are coming off maternity leave and I have been healing so they were not in their best physique, yet performed well. Makkari Mayhem (May) won Over Racing Flats on Saturday, then her mom blew it and missed the Steeplechase. She ran in the Over Racing Champion class and came in 2nd BUT didn't qualify for Reserve CH because I missed the steeplechase race. She got Over GTG Champion and completed Super Earth. Sunday she pulled 2nd in both her races and spent alot of time in the Super Earth Tunnel and tried to dig out of the GTG tunnel. Not bad for no conditioning and having 12 wk old pups.
Forget Me Not Yodi
took 2nd in Open under GTG on Saturday, used her nose and airscented the rat on Sunday using wisdom over working hard....
She was able to refocus and do several HRD drills in between which made me very happy.
Murphy took 5th in Super Earth and was quite leisurely in his endeavors this weekend.
Murphy's son, Madenhaven Gunny got Reserve Best Open Dog and Reserve CH in Under SuperEarth certificate class,
daughter Forget Me Not Jade got Best Working Bitch, CH SuperEarth over, Reserve CH GTG over on both days.
Granddaughter Biscuit took Best Puppy on Sunday. Marvel Lane Callie found out what a rat is and learned about tunnels. Thank you for bringing her Jeff Woerdeman and I expect good reports about her behavior !
And the puppies are mostly recovered. Whew! Racing Videos coming soon. I'm not good at taking photos during events...
