It was just brought to my attention that a local family is raising money for a ACL operation for their dog Blade. They are collecting returnables and also have an account set up with a local veterinarian. Tiffany, the owner will comment with information regarding the account that is setup. We would like help them out and be a collection point for any returnables people can donate.

Happy Veterans Day!!

Today, we honor all those who served to protect our country including K9 heroes, like Sergeant Stubby. ❤️🐾🇺🇸

Holding the title of the most decorated animal in American military history, this Boston Terrier pit bull mix served in the U.S. 102nd Infantry during WWI. Sergeant Stubby was a stray smuggled aboard a transport ship to Europe by a private named Conroy. Once discovered, Stubby was trained to alert his regiment of surprise mustard gas attacks and incoming artillery fire. He braved 17 battles and saved countless soldiers through his actions.

Knight received the Boris travel trophy for 1st place in criminal apprehension(bite work).
2nd place over all PDI dog( combination of obedience, article search, suspect search, and apprehension)
Jade received 1st place explosive detection which includes the Skip Brewster travel trophy
2nd place criminal apprehension(bite work)

Bite work evaluation day: October 28th (Saturday) @ 12pm in Emmett, MI - $40 per dog
Interested in learning more about bite work and testing your dog’s protection capabilities? We’re having an evaluation day for dogs/puppies who have no previous bite work training. We will test your dog’s drives, their confidence level, and make sure they are starting with safe and correct technique. There will also be a demo of advanced dogs so you can see the full picture of a protection dog. Send us a message to hold your spot! We’re only taking on two more dogs for this day.
