We had a FANTASTIC week last week, thanks to the owners who came and picked up their pets (most of whom were scared off by fireworks) as well as the many people who came out to adopt. You really answered our call for help and we appreciate it so much! Let's keep it going and make this week just as successful 💜

It's (Throwback) Senior Sunday! Remember our senior star, Rango? Well, we just got some out-of-this-world news: his father, Ringo, is here too! That's right, this is a family affair now; let's show Ringo the love that Rango got!

Okay, maybe we're jumping to conclusions. Blood relatives? Probably not! Ringo is a 12 year old shar-pei mix who came to Prairie Paws as a stray recently, and who we discovered via his microchip that his owners did not want him back. However, we believe Ringo deserves better than a cold kennel, so we're looking for his forever home to crash land! If you loved Rango, there's even more to love about Ringo. They share the same silly ears, loveable smiles, and affinity for naps on comfy beds. We don't think Ringo can hear very well, but true love transcends words anyway. 🥰 Come meet Ringo and give him a safe place to land; we promise, you won't regret it!

We’ll be closed today to celebrate Independence Day with family and friends...and to give our dogs their annual dose of trazodone. 😅 Wishing you all a safe and fun holiday!

UPDATE: THANK YOU! We had FIVE DOGS reclaimed yesterday! We will continue to run our promotion until the 5th for any new friends that get away during firework season!
