It will be extremely hot today!!
Please notice that we will NOT be doing dog walking this afternoon. All dog walks will be scheduled before 11 am each morning during extreme heat. As long as the day cools off, we will start back up for evening walks until Wednesday!
If you’d like for us to come and exercise your pets we can still do so. Exercising will be broken down in increments to allow time to cool down.
If you’re needing someone to check on your outside animals, please don’t hesitate to message us!
HEAT BUZZ: All of Oklahoma and northern Texas are expected to approach or exceed heat indices of 105 on Monday. Even though a steady southerly breeze will help it feel better (wind isn't part of the heat index calculation) frequent breaks are encouraged if you have outdoor work or play. Be sure to drink plenty of water and make sure pets and livestock have plenty as well. Less hot weather is still expected to arrive by Thursday and last through next weekend.
