JOB ALERT!!! ( APPLICATIONS ARE AT THE SHLETER)

We are looking to fill potentially two positions. Must have a valid drivers license.
Must have a love for animals!

1. Kennel worker
2. Kennel worker/ tv,event attendee

Kennel worker duties inclued the following :
Cleaning up after animals: f***s, urine, vomit etc
Helping with dishes and laundry
Vet runs
Cleaning/organizing around the shelter when theres down time.
You will be around cleaning chemicals
You need to be able to lift at least 50lbs

For the tv/event attendee: this includes going live on wtvy pet of the week every other week with a dog. And to be present at events when we havee them. We can discuss more at a later date.

Is My Microchip Still Good?
The short answer is Most Likely! Save A Life is a Texas-based microchip registry, one of over 20 registries in the United States and it closed its doors suddenly on Tuesday, 11 February. The chip used by SOS is manufactured by Datamars, one of the largest RFID chip makers for pets, livestock and clothing and it operates in 21 countries worldwide. It is also the parent company of PetLink, the registry for all SOS microchips. You may be notified by your veterinarian that the chip in your pet may no longer be registered, but if it's an SOS chip it will still be good.

Is My Microchip Valid?
Can't speak for all microchip services, but if your pet was adopted from SOS, it has a PetLink chip and they operate across the United States and Canada. They are owned by Datamars, considered a leader in RFID-based solutions, operating in 21 countries. According to USA Today, Texas-based Save This Life was the microchip registration company that shut down on Tuesday.
