Meet Lucky — our gentle senior shepherd with the softest eyes. 💙

At 8–9 years old, he’s a little shy at first, but once he trusts you, he’s nothing but sweetness. Lucky came to us as a stray, is fully vetted, and is looking for a quiet home without small kids.

Thanks to support from The Grey Muzzle Organization, senior pups like Lucky get the extra care they deserve while they wait for their forever home.

Meet Maggie Mae — proof that love can rewrite even the hardest stories. 💛

At 12 (soon to be 13!), this little fighter has already lived a lifetime’s worth of battles. After years in a puppy mill, she arrived broken — her tail crushed, her skin raw, her heart full of worms and pain. But somehow, she found the strength to stay.

Today, Maggie Mae greets each sunrise with a wagging tail and a sparkle in her eye. 🌅 She faces heart failure, glaucoma, arthritis, and hearing loss, but none of it dims her spirit. Thanks to the Grey Muzzle Foundation, her heart medication is covered for three precious months — giving her more mornings, more meals, and more love. 💕 The Grey Muzzle Organization

🎉LEWIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED🎉

🐾 NEWCOMER ALERT — Meet Lewie! 🐾

This sweet 4-year-old little guy is officially ready for adoption here at SOS Animal Shelter 💙

Lewis may be tiny… but his personality (and his ears 😍) are BIG.

His #1 requirement? TOY BABIES. He LOVES them. Like — “must always have one close by” level of love. So his future home definitely needs to have a little stuffy toy stash ready to go. 🧸

He’s gentle, adorable, and wants nothing more than a soft bed, a tiny toy to carry around, and his person.

🚫 WE ARE FULL — PLEASE READ 🚫
SOS Animal Shelter is currently at full capacity and our cat isolation area is over-full.
We cannot safely take in any more animals at this time.

We know people think they’re “helping” by dropping animals off at our door… but abandoning / dumping animals here is not helping them.
Those animals are scared, unvaccinated, and exposed to illness — especially right now with so many kittens in our care.

Any animals left on our property will be taken directly to Colony Veterinary Hospital — this is not optional.
Right now, we are caring for 13 very ill kittens that were dropped this morning, and it is breaking our hearts. 💔

They need treatment, not more exposure, and we cannot take on more than we have the resources to safely treat.

We are also in need of WET kitten food —
If you’d like to help, donations are very appreciated. ❤️Please — be responsible. Don’t dump animals.
And if you want to make a REAL difference for community cats…

👉 SPAY & NEUTER.
It prevents suffering like this before it starts.
We love our community — and we know you love animals too. We are doing everything we can… but we need everyone else to do their part as well. 🐾
