Update on Lola.
Lola has made great improvements. They will try to wean her off oxygen tomorrow. The bill is set at just over $5,000 with about $600 in donations so far that have gone directly to the vet hospital. The hospital has offered to take on any remaining fees that will accrue starting today through the remainder of her stay. They are hopeful we can bring her home Thursday or Friday morning.
We are so thankful for everyone who has reached out to help, donated to the vet hospital and to us directly.
Thank you, thank you! โค๏ธ
Message from Jen.
Some of you may be aware that my residence suffered a fire last night, resulting in significant property loss. Fortunately, all human family members are safe, but unfortunately, our husky, Jack, did not survive. I am grateful for the outpouring of support from my network during this difficult time. Our other pets, Simon, Tobii, the cats, and pet tarantula, are currently safe and healthy.
Regrettably, my partner's dog, Lola, sustained severe smoke inhalation and is currently receiving intensive care in Pasco. Her daily medical expenses are $2,500, per day, with a minimum five-day stay anticipated. Those willing to contribute to her care can contact Mid-Columbia Pet Emergency Service directly at 509-547-3577, referencing owners Marco Bravo/Jennifer Beck.
I extend sincere appreciation to everyone offering assistance, well wishes, and ongoing support.
