The beef industry is important and we want to recognize that. We are so thankful for our farmers and ranchers who raise and care for the cattle every day - through any weather that Nebraska may throw our way!

Fact #2 - Agriculture is the #1 industry in Nebraska. Cattle production is the largest part of the industry!

Welcome to MC Beef Company! We are located in north central Nebraska in the beautiful Sandhills. My husband, Mitch, and I are raising 6th generation ranchers on the family ranch. We started out as MC Cattle Company 24 years ago and added MC Veterinary Service 9 years ago when I started a cattle-only veterinary clinic on our ranch. We run moderate-framed Angus cows that we range calve in April and May. This means they are calved out in the pasture, not in a lot. Once they calve, the mamas and babies get to graze fresh green rye forage until time to go to summer grass. Our main objective is to raise fertile cattle with tremendous longevity. We strive to raise efficient, low-input cattle with fertility, fleshing ability, and structural soundness. We expect our cattle to thrive in the Sandhills with as little added feed as possible. Living on a ranch, we take for granted our unlimited access to premium quality home-raised beef. That’s why we decided to branch out and add MC Beef Company to our operation. We want to give access to a quality beef product to those who may otherwise not have that opportunity at an affordable price. We believe strongly in our product, and would love to answer any questions you have about our ranch or operation. I love being able to combine being a vet and helping on the ranch when they need me. Our boys, Charlie (7) and Emmett (5) are very involved in our operation, and we love being able to raise them on the ranch.
