We’re not a business—just a hobby farm with a whole lot of heart. Born and raised in Escondido, California (yep, "Escondido" means "hidden"—how perfect, right?), we thought it only fitting to name our little piece of paradise Rancho Escondido. After starting our mini farm in the heart of Oklahoma City, we’ve sin

ce relocated to Norman, OK. Our “family” here includes all sorts of fun and quirky animals, from rescue dogs & cats to cows, our mini Donkey "Fiona", Guinea Keets, KuneKune Pigs, Pygmy Goats, and a rainbow of chickens! 🐶🐱🐷🦙🐓 About 20% of our crew are rescues, so we’re all about giving second chances and providing a loving home for those who need it most. Occasionally, you might see a few of our furry (or feathered) friends up for sale, but mostly, we just love sharing the joy of animal life with folks who get it. So whether you're here for cute animal pics or looking for some farm inspiration, we’re so glad you stopped by! 💕

ANIMAL OF THE MONTH:

Say hello to our “Travieso”. 🥰 He came to us as a foster kitty. But… I’m a foster fail and ended up keeping him AND his brother. He weighed less than 1.2lbs when we got him. Now? 😳 Let’s just say his nickname is Panzón ! 😂 He is the first to run up on you to snuggle during tv time. Wouldn’t change him for anything. Never a dull moment with this one. He will entertain himself with the most random objects. His latest obsession, chapstick tubes. 🤦🏻‍♀️ There is nothing like hearing something drop in the middle of the night then feet running up and down the hallway while he chases his newest toy!
