We had a great show weekend in Longview at the AEDAO show. Legend finished his CH title with the first show.

We put Legend away for the past 9 months giving him time to mature and fill out. This was his first time back out and he showed beautifully! Look at that tail wag, I think he is happy to be back out in the spotlight.

Happy 2nd Birthday Legend!

Int Hnr CH Tesla Fowlers Land DASH, SWN, ATT, CGC is such a handsome boy who is so loved.

Legend is such a loving and goofy boy. He loves to run and zoom. He loves to go for car rides with his head hanging out the window. He is always willing to try new things and his favorite sport is nose work.

His mom's favorite is when he tries to play with the cat (unsuccessfully) and then pounces his toys. He loves/hates when you blow in his face, he gets immediate zoomies.

He hates baths!

We are thrilled to watch this boy come along and mature. We attended the UKC Western Classic where Legend earned his DASH title. No love in the show ring, but boy is the compititon steep!

Legend has been having a blast working on his Scent Work Titles. He has his SNI, SNC, SNB. He needs 2 qualifiers for exterior to complete his novice title. Legend also completed his AKC temperament test.

We are bringing Willow back out very slowly. She only competed once this weekend, but took her class and had a blast running DASH.

Willow enjoys scent work so much! She wants to drag you all over the grounds to every building she can pick up oder on. She hasn't earned her titles yet, but she is getting there.

Legend is really staring to get the idea of the game. He improved his time and ran 9.45 seconds at 21.64 MPH. Our next event will be in June right here in Eugene.

I am a big girl now. My 5 month birthday will be on May 4. I weighed 42 lbs and love my new home. I sleep in a crate and am potty trained. We play a lot and my lessons are a work in progress with regards to listening and walking on a leash. Hope you are doing well.

Poor Legend isn't feeling well. After several days of an upset tummy dehydration is starting to be a concern. However, after 8 (no joke) hours sitting at the emergency vet with no treatment and minimal communication we took him home to force some water down him. Also not an option while we sat, and waited. Did you know dehydration can come on quickly in pets. How do we evaluate when there is cause for concern? We check his gums -pink is good / white or pale is bad. We also run a finger along the gums. Slimy or wet is good. Dry or sticky is bad. Legend has been drinking just enough water the last 24 hours to teeter on the edge of concern. We keep.pet insurance so we don't have to play the what if game. When in doubt we can just head in. That is IF, they can see us... good thing circumstances weren't more serious.

Pupdate- previously Dancer from our Disney x Legend litter. He was a service dog prospect

Just wanted to give you an update on Kenai! He's growing so fast. He's already 22 lbs🤦‍♀️ He's now accepted by both of his brothers and loved very much. He already know sit, down, spin left, spin right, wait, heel positioning, and we are working on place and scentwork. Don't worry though.... this boy has plenty of time to rest and be a puppy. He LOVES training. He got an incredible drive that I hope will carry through his teenage and adult years.

Just like us, our pets may need a transfusion. We will be adding our dogs to the donor list and hope to save a life.

In 2020 we lost our foundation girl simply because she needed a transfusion and there was no blood available. So greatful there is a better emergency vet in town!

A new dog can be a pet, a companion, a best friend. Often we don't realize how much more if we give them the chance.

A puppy goes home tomorrow to a family with diabetes. May I suggest green collar with an eagerness to use her nose and a desire to work. She is well suited for public access. She will now be trained as a diabetic alert. They were here just looking for their new best friend.

A puppy went home last week to a family with Parkinsons. May I suggest red collar. His robust build, (he will be a very big boy), his eagerness to please. He is suited for public access. He will now be trained in mobility assist. They were just looking for a family companion.

Get to know your breeder. Let your breeder get to know you. Your pet can do so much more when you can share your need and your breeder can understand who their puppies are, and what they are capable of. Our Disney & Legend litter of English Cream Golden Retrievers will give so much more than companionship. We placed 3 service dogs. 2 for mobility assistance and 1 diabetic alert. She may save a life. He will give someone independence. They are angels sent to help us, to heal us, to love us.

With all the rain yesterday we had fun introducing puppies to water using 1 of our larger puddles. I love how they plow into the puddle unsuspecting. We have found it takes a few exposures before the water become "fun" but I didn't really see any avoidance. And with Goldens I wouldn't expect to

Finished setting up the last crate and snuggle pups to save litter scent when they go home. The pups choose to use this space all on thier own, and perfer to sleep in thier crates... with the doors open. We will continue to work on crate training

Pups got to meet thier big sister Willow. They hungry out in a new space while we cooked, ate , and cleaned. We banged pots, ran the blender and the ice crusher. Desensitzation to sound is part of our exposure curriculum
