Meet these two Dapper boys! R***r and Bobo surrendered to us after a tragic family loss. They are giant floofs but also super gentle and very friendly. They love to play with toys, balls, squeakers, bones, all of them. They are both very goofy and want to run and run but will also curl up next to you and snore. They can be a bit timid with strangers and may take some time to warm up. Both are potty and crate trained but need to be coaxed into the crate initially. They are litter mates born 4/29/23 and are between 70- 80 lbs. They are both fixed, Microchipped and vaccinated. They do not have to go together as they are in separate homes now and doing great! Both are said to be great with dogs, cats and kids. We have not seen anything that would suggest otherwise. They definitely are not aware of their size that’s for sure! Both are a Pyrenees,Anatolian and Bernese mix.

To have a soft place to land. He is a high energy dog. But he is dog social, corrects well of other dogs tell him enough, and he has been around cats and has no issues. Let’s find this guy a new foster home and maybe even a permanent one!

Australian cattle dog 38lbs Dog friendly has some energy to burn. Staff favorite. This is whay they say about his dog interactions. Gets along fine with other dogs, we’ve had a couple males yell and growl at him(becuase of his cattle dog energy) and he defers and walks away from them, did get into a yelling match with one but was super easy to correct.

Miss Harriet is back! She was adopted a while ago but unfortunately the past family has some medical issues and not able to keep her! She lives in a house with other dogs and does great. Her current home doesn’t have cats but she was around of them in the past. She is fully vetted and healthy. She is a 2 year old pure bred cocker spaniel who was dumped extremely pregnant. We presume she was dumped as the other dog was a boxer. She gave birth to 9 babies in our care. All her babies have been adopted. We would love to see someone adopt her and give her a good full

Please consider a dog with baggage. They are just as deserving. This sweet pug mix is still waiting to be picked! And his adoption is SPONSORED!!

Mister is back! He was adopted about a year ago and is back with us! He is about 3 yrs old, what we think is a Chug and around 15 lbs. He Loves people and kids. He does get along fine with other dogs however does not tolerate dominant males. He HATES his nails being cut and will BITE. However we have a groomer referral for that and she is aware of this and willing to work through it. He has already had a couple successful grooming appointments with her and did great! Otherwise he's truly a wonderful lap dog who just wants to be loved. He loves to go for walks or just lounge on the couch. He is being fostered in Eugene.

Jensen is 6lb chi mix and he’s around 5-6 months old. He is initially shy but opens up after some time. He is very sweet and loves to cuddle. He loves to play with other dogs. Unknown how he is with cats. He is working hard on potty training but is crate trained. He’s been fixed, microchipped and vaccinated.

Olive 🫒 is a 5 lbs chi mix around 3 yrs old. She is pretty sassy but very sweet! Her current playmate that she loves is Toffee! She may be 5 lbs but she Loves to play with her doggie friends! She loves her people and wants to snuggle. She does resource guard her food but that’s an easy fix to feed separately. She’s a real lap warmer and would love to have a lap of her own! She’s is crate trained, fixed, microchipped and vaccinated.

Sloth is a 2 yr old doxie mix around 8 lbs. He gets along with other Female dogs although he really prefers to be by himself with his toys. He can be bossy with other dogs and does resourse guard his toys. He's a super power chewer so he would love a large toy box! Dont let his small size fool you. He can shred a power chewer toy in no time flat. He loves to snuggle with his human. He will crate but does protest for a while. He loves to be with his people. Walks well on a leash. Is a door bolter so potential adopters must be aware and prepared for this. Came in with an eye injury. He may possibly need removed, currently being treated to see if that helps. He can be protective of his home so he will go after "intruders" if he feels threatened.

This guy is a 1 year old chihuahua mix, he was adopted as a puppy but returned due to personal issues. This guy is still unsure about losing his family. But he is a sweet guy who opens up in his home. He gets along with other dogs. We don’t know about his exposure to cats. He lived in a home with another dog and kids and did great! He is fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. We would love to see this guy get a home

Little chickpea was found alone in a box in a park in CA. We think she’s a medium breed mix, not really sure what the mix is. She wants to sleep snuggled in tight and cries if alone in kennel overnight. She settles after a few minutes, but does prefer to sleep with her person. Spayed, getting her vaccines, and an overall playful, curious, happy puppy. Doing well on potty training with access to outside and learning to use potty pads inside. We have no info on her parents so cannot answer how big she'll get. Her paws seem large and legs long 🤔 This snuggle bug is ready to find her family and does well with the large mama pitty in the house and is interested in our cat, but does not chase or bother her. She's found her voice when playing, but does not bark otherwise.

Pookie!
This mama pitty mix is about two years old and ready for her own forever home now that her four 4mo old pups have all settled into their new homes.💚
She is short and stout and a solid girl approximately 50-60lbs and she is So Gentle and sweet and overall very mellow. She's happy to go outside and is entertained by the squirrels and falling leaves. But she is so happy to be inside and curled up on her favorite ottoman or couch cushion. She does not jump up on the couch or bed, but slowly climbs up to get settled in. She is super gentle and loving with the 6lb puppy we are also fostering and would really love to play with our 12lb terrier chi mix. (He's grumpy and not as interested). She had a successful playdate with another large pitty mix and did great. She does need work to not excitedly rush cats and would be better with a home without cats or with someone with the time and ability to supervise these interactions and limit opportunities to chase. She really seems to enjoy everyone she meets and is not activated by bikes, men, children or loud sounds. Overall a perfectly lovely girl ready to snuggle her way into your heart.

She is spayed, up to date in vaccines, crate trained, does not bark excessively nor display any real problematic issues. Happy to potty outside, but doesn't alert to go out- so there are accidents (on potty pads) when I fail to get her out regularly. Walks well on a leash (as long as she can also help carry it 😂) and is a mellow and chill car passenger.

Miss Lucy Tuesday

Lucy was found in a trap with a cat and a chihuahua on an abandoned property in California. She came to her fosters terrified, dirty, and flea ridden. It took an hour just to get her out of a crate. She was spayed at the shelter and the vet estimates that she is about a year and a half old. Based on online photos, her fosters think she is a St. Bernard and Great Pyrenees mix. Her weight is estimated at 85 lbs.

It’s been an amazing couple of weeks and Lucy is truly awesome. She is a huge cuddle bug and adores affection. In terms of the fear, she has really come out of her shell at the fosters house but has a ways to go with outside trust. She is potty trained and walks great on a leash. She enjoys walks but will stop and evaluate the situation when encountering other people. There is zero aggression, simply fear. She does not appreciate nor fall for being coaxed into or out of places. Being patient and casual with her has proven most effective. She has very little recall at this point but does seem to be learning her name.

She is playful with the two labs at the foster house but has shown resource guarding over attention, water, treats, and the food bins. It’s mostly been vocal and it has decreased over time as she feels safer. The fosters think she could do well in a home with other dogs with oversight and correction, but know she will be great as an only dog for sure.

That said, she does not like being left alone for long periods of time. Retired people or people who work from home would be ideal. Probably kids over ten since she doesn’t know her own size and strength, and she is still young and playful. There are no cats or chickens at the foster so it is unknown how she may react or behave.

Since she is still apprehensive of the car and afraid of people, the adoption event will probably not be a great option to meet her. So a private meet and greet would be best for her!
