Stubby
This guy was an owner surrender. He is about 2-3 years old, possibly a corgi/terrier mix of the sorts about 15 pounds or less. His owner fell on hard times and was living in her car with multiple dogs. We offered to help them out and took 3 of them which are all available for adoption. He was pretty shy and fearful at first which is totally understandable considering all the changes he went through. He has come around and is very sweet and just wants some stability in his life. He has been fixed, microchipped and vaccinated. He is being fostered in Eugene.

Loki!

Cody!

Meet this terrier mix who is about 10 pounds and 2 years old! He is such an affectionate guy who just wants to be held. He is pretty shy at first but once he knows he is safe he will just melt. This guy came from the house where there were over 90 dogs living in absolute filth. We truly don’t know how they survived the conditions but they did. We are happy that we could save a few of them and give them the best life. He does great with other dogs big and small. Unknown in cats. This guy is fixed, microchipped and vaccinated. He is being fostered in Eugene.

This isn’t just 5 years in Facebook, this is 5 years that we have been a rescue which is huge! Rescue work is hard! So hard but seeing updates about dogs we saved and YOU adopted truly helps us keep going! Thank you simply isn’t enough but we could not have done the last 5 years with out your support!

🎉Bean Dip Adopted🎉
Who Is ready for the cutest snacks!?
Nacho cheese- nacho is a 10wk old puppy found abandoned with his sister at 7 weeks. He is all puppy, loves to play, and has no fear! He will catapult his 5 lb self off the couch without even a second thought! He has been around a cat and a larger dog and while he enjoys chasing the cat, he listens very well when the cat decides it does not want to play anymore. He is also respectful of direction from the resident dog. He plays hard, but loves cuddles once he gets tired. His preference would be to stay with his people 100% of the time, but he will settle in his xpen after a little whining. He is in the early stages of potty training, but already seems to recognize that the first thing to do when he goes outside is to go potty. He is an absolute love and is ready for his forever family ♥️

Bean dip- bean is a 10 week old girl, found abandoned with her brother at 7 weeks. Bean is an independent and adventurous young lady! She always wants to explore and find the next new and exciting discovery. When she is occasionally startled or uncertain, she runs to her person for some support until she is confident enough to start her explorations again. This girlie loves to play and tennis balls are her favorite! It doesn’t matter that they are bigger than her whole head, she will carry them across the whole yard to show you her prize! She has been around a cat and a larger dog and while she enjoys chasing the cat, she listens very well when the cat decides it does not want to play anymore. She is also respectful of direction from the resident dog. While she is a little less cuddly than her brother, she loves to bring her toy and play with it in your lap. She is in the early stages of potty training, but is already starting to be competent in going outside to potty. She is such a fun, happy little soul, she is ready to find her forever family to grow with ♥️

We just want to give a shout out to some other rescues who have stepped up to help us with our oogie boogie. Times are hard right now for all of us, with adoptions low and donations even lower it's a struggle to stay afloat. But somehow we all have managed. With that said there is so much drama revolving around rescue work it's hard to find support sometimes.
Today we are feeling very humbled A Woof Over My Head Dog Rescue, Fur Love Haven, Salem Dogs, and Raining Dogs Rescue have all stepped up by donating to his surgery and sharing our posts and /or making their own to help raise funds. OOGIE BOOGIE deserves a village right now and boy is he getting it.
Thank you everyone who is helping to make this surgery happen for him!!

Miss Jenny is a 2 yr chiweenie around 8lbs. She is Spunky and very playful. She unfortunately came from a hoarding house where she was with 90… yes 90 other dogs!Despite her beginning she is happy friendly social girl. She loves to play with other dogs and would love a house with another friend. She also happens to love people and kids. Sadly due to living in a house with so many dogs she was allowed to potty wherever. So she is working hard on potty training however she is crate trained. Let’s show this girl some love!

🆘🆘HELP🆘🆘

Update #4 as of this morning we have raised $1085 AND he has a potential adopters! We couldn't be more humbled and thankful for this community and the other rescues stepping up to help!

UPDATE #3 - 3/20/25 We have raised 355 dollars so far, please keep sharing We have a long ways to go to reach our goal to cover his surgery

UPDATE #2 - Surgery is scheduled for 4/3/25 at East Bend Animal Hospital donations can be called in and put on our account for Oogie Boogie 541-780-1243

UPDATE- Oregon Veterinary Referral Associates states his leg cannot be fixed and he will need amputation. We will update when we know for sure where it will be getting done. Average amputation surgery is usually 1800-2500. We have had 150 donated so far. Please keep sharing

We have this sweet 3 month old St Bernard in our reacue currently, his name is Oogie Boogie. He landed at the shelter after he was injured. We saw his sad little face and we knew we had to snag him and bring him into our rescue. This guy was taken to 24/7 vet and was diagnosed with a bite wound and abcess on his front leg. After arriving into our rescue we quickly realized it was more than that. He didn't arrive with his antibiotics so back to the vet he went to get on antibiotics. However he did not improve, he seemed in pain and just off. Then we took him to our vet in bend where he received body wide X-rays. Those showed that his shoulder is very obviously fractured in more than one spot and one is displaced. He's in a lot of pain. He now has a referral to OVRA but we need to raise funds to take him. We do not know what the future holds for him as he is a large breed and we don’t know if amputation is even possible. Either direction we go with him we need help paying for his many vet visits and potential surgery!

The cutest boys!
Meet McRib and bratwurst! These two boys we part of a whole little that was dumped at the shelter. We don’t know what mom or dad looked like but these boys are not very big. They are possibly pit mixes but truly we don’t know! They are currently under 15 pounds and around 3 months old. They have been around dogs and cats. Working hard on potty and crate training. They have been fixed, vaccines started and microchipped.

Meet these four little babies! They are about 10-12 weeks old but they are already about 25 pounds. Our vet thinks they are possibly Weimaraner/ridge back mixes. Sadly these babies had a rough start to life. They landed at the shelter after their mom and two of their siblings died from rat poison. We also have reason to believe they were all horribly beaten on top of being poisoned. So we would really love to see them find a home that will shower them with love! They are typical puppies who play and play non-stop! Both are happy pups who have been around other dogs but not cats. They need a family who is going to love them but give them structure that they need for success. They are crate trained and potty trained. All are fixed, microchipped and vaccinated. They are being fostered in Springfield.

Say hello to this handsome hunk Oso!

He is a big ole boy he is a pit mastiff mix possibly? He is about 80 pounds of love! He is good with other dogs, has not been around cats. He needs to be in a home with older kids as he doesn’t know his size. He is crate trained and potty trained. He can be a bit skittish at first with new people and overwhelmed in new situations but does adjust with the confidence and support of his handler. He is fixed, microchipped and vaccinated. He is being fostered in Eugene

Meet Chanel! She is about 2 1/2 years old maltese mix. She is spayed, microchipped, about 12 pounds. This gal is a very snuggly girl who loves to be woth her people. Chanel loves to be on her persons lap and is a fabulous snuggler. She is house trained with easy access to outside (dog door). She plays well with her housemates and is kennel trained. She can be bossy with her housemates but not aggressive. Enjoys playing in the yard and chasing the other dogs.

He is a 2 year old havenese mix around 20 pounds! He is a sweet boy but does get overwhelmed meeting new people and dogs. However he is in a home with multiple dogs and does fine after time to acclimate. He is also in a home with cats and he does well with them. He is fixed microchipped and fully vaccinated.

Vader is a 2 yr old brussels mix. He is approx 14 lbs. He is super happy social and playful, does best with female dogs as he's pretty dominant with other males. He's been exhibiting some mild resource guarding of his food from other dogs, but seems to settle once he learns his place in a pack. So far he loves all people including kids. Working hard on potty training and is crate trained. Absoluetly loves to play, loves squeaky toys, loves to chase balls. He’s is fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. He’s beingg fostered in Eugene
