We’re thrilled to share some exciting news! Good Shepherd Humane Society has been awarded a $41,000 Preventative Care grant from Banfield Foundation to fund a series of mobile free pet vaccine clinics for 2,500 dogs and cats through 2025.

“Our community’s pets are so loved and valued, but even the most devoted owners can struggle to provide basic care in hard times,” says Cole Wakefield, Executive Director of Good Shepherd Humane Society. “We’re incredibly grateful to Banfield Foundation for helping us bring these vital services to the pets and families who need them most.”

The clinics will begin in March, with details on the schedule and how to sign up coming in mid-February. We’ll partner with local organizations throughout the region to ensure this program reaches as many underserved communities as possible.
