🐾 meet the owner 🐾

Hi everyone, I am Jazzmyn, the creator of Humboldt Pack Tracks! I wanted to take a moment to tell you more about myself and why HPT exists for you and your pet.

I grew up surrounding myself with animals. From adopting injured farm animals to scooping kittens off the street, I was an animal person from the start. It was my goal to give every animal a better quality of life and did so in every outlet I could find. From volunteering at zoos to running Jane Goodall clubs, animals and their welfare were my top priority. This childhood passion led me to Humboldt State (now Cal Poly) to deepen my knowledge via a degree in Marine Biology and Zoology.

My devotion turned into a career as I worked in both the SCUBA diving and animal husbandry departments at multiple aquariums along the west coast. During this path I realized how important the medical practice of animals under human care is. I hit the ground running with this new venture and found a dream position at a veterinary hospital. It was here that I detoured from marine life and fell back in love with our four legged, furry friends and the medical science that keeps them healthy and happy.

As we entered the pandemic, I moved back home to Humboldt and worked at veterinary hospitals locally. Quickly I learned about the great need for pet care and animal services in our county. With impacted clinics and waitlisted boarding facilities, I decided to open HPT, a well rounded, elite pet care service.

It is with great excitement that I get to introduce myself to all of you as the founder of a licensed, insured and highly trained pet care service of Humboldt County. I am constantly expanding our team, broadening our services, and trying to offer our community one of the safest and most fun pet care options in the area.

🐾 see you later’s 🐾

When I started Humboldt Pack Tracks, I had no idea that the hardest part would be the goodbyes and the see you later’s. Auggie has been a staple in this pack since the beginning, I’m sure he and I have ran hundreds of miles together! On his pack days, he patiently awaits the truck on his porch or by the window (swipe to see!)
Then when we arrive, his excited squeels and giant smiles warm my heart and fill the truck. His sweet soul has lit up the pack and my heart! Today is Auggies last pack day, he has big plans awaiting him on the east coast.

It is with a sad yet full heart I get to say, goodbye Auggie Doggie!

Visit us out west again soon, your pack will always be here for you 🐾💙🐾

Here at Pack Tracks, we board pack members! If your pup runs with our pack they are also welcome to stay in our home while you’re away. Each day of their stay they run with the pack and then sleep in our home with our pups.

If they stay during a holiday or long weekend they might even get to go on a camping trip!

Bear just spent three days avoiding fireworks while camping along the trinity river with our pack. His parents will be home soon and boy does he have great stories of swimming all day and campfire naps at night to share with them. 🐾

❄️ todays weather called for 48mph winds, pouring rain, and chances of thunderstorms. while that sounded fun, we decided to head a little bit inland and found ourselves a beautiful snow day! the Pack and I are so grateful for our home and are extremely thankful for our well rounded playground. ❄️

🐾 what I think I look like on the trail vs what I actually look like on the trail 🐾

🐾 Pack Tracks is extremely thankful for the beautiful land we are able to hike daily. on the pacific north coast, there is not a moment that this Pack takes for granted the endless beaches, the ageless redwood forests or the close mountain ranges. as the Pack leader it is my responsibility to not only bring a tired and safe Pack home but to also leave every place we explore better than we found it.
