I would like to thank the Collie Club of Minnesota for putting on a great specialty and the Minneapolis Kennel Club for their all breed show. It was great to see everybody there.

Chrysalis Collies was well represented with four dogs. Peanut, Chrysalis The Greatest Show, went BOW at Sunday's specialty and got her first major. Maum'ee, BIS GCHS Chrysalis Fantasy on Ice, got BOS at the all breed show on Saturday and SB on Sunday.

Itty Bitty aka Sparkle, Ch Chrysalis Sparkle Factor, was shown by her owner Bethany Detwiler at Saturday's specialty and got SB. Chunk aka Bolo, Chrysalis 19 Crimes, was shown by his owner Hannah Arbogast and got RWD at the specialty on Sunday and WD at the all breed on Sunday.

We got pictures with all four dogs. Left to right is Sparkle aka Itty Bitty, P-nut, Maum'ee, and Bolo aka Chunk

Thank you to Bethany and Moth Mann for being my pilot and copilot and for loving my dogs and being such good friends because I couldn't have done this show without them. Thank you to Hannah and Patti Jo Arbogast for loving Bolo so much.

It was great hanging out with Jerry, Bree, and Cheryl at dinner Saturday night. Thanks for your hospitality. We also enjoyed dinner at The Muddy Cow with Shannon Hayes on Friday.

P NUTS 1st show no points but she moved around the ring well, bthat was my worry.she did a good job. Our fan broke down on way over Thursday and I missed Fri. But left 2 dogs at home loaded the car and came for the weekend. PNUT is a Maumie' daughter. On a sadder note we lost our Gracie a couple of weeks ago, she went into DIC battling cancer in 1 day. She didn't suffer, she thought the bleeding was just an annoyance . Actually she was like a new girl after her surg in April, but then, she bit her tongue and when it wouldnt stop bleeding I knew something was wrong. She went to sleep in my lap wth Bob, Eli and Maumie' at her side . She is very missed. Gracie was the youngest smooth girl to finish before she was 7 months old and my best producer. She loved sheep and whelping and raising puppies. Rest well sweet girl.

Congrats Kathy Miller owned by Lacey finished today in MI whoo hoo. Just a baby doll.i Chrysalis 19 Crimes aka Chunk/Bolo earned his 1st point in Duluth MN happily owns PJ Arbogast and. D Hannah. Chrysalis had a fun weekend. Thanks is a must to Linda C and Babbi for your assistance. VInnie. GCHS CH CHRYSALIS WYLDROSE YOU DIRTY RAT CGCA PT FDC BCAT went breed both days and grp2 today, i tpok Vin in grp today and just held on.Linda shows Vin for me off and on he looks Amazing with Lin. Maum'e went BOS both days and NOHS G3 YESTERDAY And.. my Peanut CHRYSALIS THE GREATEST SHOW went puppy g1 both days. Thank you Bab for taking put into BIS ring. She looked so cute and did a great job with you. Last but not least CHRYSALIS 19 CRIMES. Chunk went BOS to his cousin P nut. I'm worn out and still have to tear down and hook up trailer. YUCK. National is over, Easter done and spring has sprung at least in So. IN. I hope every one had a beautiful Easter, remember to pray everyday as our country and world needs so much healing and prayer. Another horrific shooting in Louisville this AM At a branch of my bank Old National. Prayer and healing to all those affected . I havent been posting much on this Chrysalis Collies page as i need help to get it straightened out and all the unwanted stuff off, so that will be soon. The national is always fun , exciting and stressful, but it makes us happy mostly, and we all need a little of that. Thank you to all those and your hard work in giving us this national so many folks out there Thqnks again to you all. Congrats to all exhibitors and thier beautiful dogs for exhibiting and letting us all see the beauty of the collie ,and to all collies grabbing the eyes of our judges. Thank You. Chrysalis was well represented Maum'e, Deja and Cheyene all made the first cut in bitch specials, very proud of the girls and all others that were presented i know i will forget someone but thier were others in the classes, specials, obedience, herding and more. Thank you for loving and preseting your dogs. Peanut, Cutie, Hank and Chunk had a blast, they are old enough to start in puppy 4-6 class. I didnt say trained lol sooo fun see you all soon Love Deb

Awesome weekend for Chrysalis. Thank You Debbie and Mary for taking my Turbs to the Belleville shows this weekend. I love those shows but wasnt able to go and show. My brown dog is now CHAMPION CHRYSALIS START YOUR ENGINES Whoo hoo go Turbo!!!! and....his brother Barry took a GROUP 2 on Sunday. Go Sam and Barry. Puppy pics to come have to go to work now.

WOWSER On our way home and in MO. We left Utah about 6:30p yesterday, Bob didn't stop till 5:45am. I was sleeping. He tried to get 12 hours in on the road but couldn't do it. Back on the road about 9am. Our national was so nice. Not only about our dogs but all the friends, long nights, good friends and oh did i mention all the great collie lovers and friends. The national itself seemed flawless, at least to me as a participant. Hat's off to all behind the scenes and all your hard work. I couldn't begin to name you all. But have the utmost admiration and respect for what you do and the love our Collies. First of all congratulations to all the collies for your accomplishments that have brought you here and their pet humans for bringing them all out to play. Very proud of all the Chrysalis young dogs at 10 mths old for keeping it together and their hoomans for loving them. Sam owned by Barry aka Chrysalis Bluebarry at Happy Hills #1 9-12 dogs, go go Bluey. Chrysalis Good Time Charlie (his name fits him) aka Charles chose to own Brenda Hanssen won the bred by class. YeeHa.Miss Chrysalis Sparkle Factor aka Sparkle aka Itty made the cut in the 9-12 bitch class. Go Bitty. Spark owns and is loved by Linda T. Thurs..Maum'e, Cheyenne & Charles played in the brood bitch class, the undeniably beautiful Sable team was not to be outdone it was an honor to be competing with you guys. Friday Chrysalis Deja Blu aka Deja happily owning Shannon Hayes, & her big sis Maum'e Won The brace class. Woo wuu. They showed together much better than I thought and I was able to hang on successfully. Then came the beautiful amazing specials class. Chrysalis girls 3yo GCHB CH Chrysalis Fantasy On Ice, 2yo GCHB CH Chrysalis Deja Blu and 10m CH Shepherds' Mission & Chrysalis Raise Your Glass represented proudly. Maum'e and Cheyenne made the first cut, Maum'e the 2nd cut and then on to win an Award of Merit!!! I am blessed and honored to be a part of this amazing group of specials. Lastly on Saturday Barry competed for best puppy and looked marvelous Charlie or Charles in Charge went BOS to Best bred by. THANK YOU Judges Adria Weiner, Robette Johns & Nancy Anstruther for this honor. I am blessed to be given the opportunity to be a part of this collie world. Thank you Debbie,Mary, Shannon and Carol for your help and support, couldn't have done it without you and to all my besties, friends and family I love and respect, You have taught me well. Kudos to all the collies and friends this past weekend at CSCC. So happy for Shan and Lin and proud to be a part of Sparkle and Deja, you bring out the best in them. Regardless of their accomplishments I know they are loved .to all of you who love and or have loved my fur babies I am forever grateful for now and forever. Maum'e Deja and Sparkle rocked it this weekend thank you judges for finding them in a world of beauty!

THANKS TO ALL MY FRIENDS that supported me and helped me out at the Hoosier Cluster this past weekend, Katie, Kim Ruby and Alex, Tammy & George, Casey & Spencer, Brenda & Jeff, Sarah & Summer to help me get through this weekend. I dont have any pics but I will figure it out on my new Android (YES you heard right) eventually. A shout out to Chrysalis Start Your Engine Aka Turbo or Turbs his first 2 points and Maum'e, well she is always a show engine, and I could ask no more of her BOB on Fri and Sat. WOWser Shannon and Deja had a blast at the SWCC specialties Select bitch and BOB Thank You Shan for loving her. AWESOME SAUCE. Casey amazing with (oh my gosh Casey im blank on her name) her beautiful rough blue bitch WB!, Tammy on George on their Grand on Blossom and BOB on Ranger, Alex - your lovely presentation of Chrysalis Megalomaniac, WOWser Shannon and Deja had a blast at the SWCC specialties Select bitch and BOB Thank You Shan for loving her. AWESOME SAUCE. and all of the other amazing jobs from all the collie peeps at Indianapolis promoting and loving our beautiful Collies. A cherished reminder -Turb and Maum'e honoring Gingy on Saturday 2/5/21, 3yrs gone, missing her but still seeing her and loving her. Thanks All, i will figure this phone out ohh in a couple of years. We had a great time at the Ohio Expo center this weekend. Thank You Tammie and George for your hospitality you are amazing. Pictured is Maum'e and beautiful Cheyenne. Watch out for this sweet girl. I know i will. Cheyenne went WB Thursday, Ranger went BOV Thurs congrats Tammie and George. Maum picked up a OH Grp 2 & 4 and 3 BOV. She worked hard and i can hardly move today but ahh the trials and tribs of dog showing. Ouch. Must work tonight and life goes on. Congrats to all the amazing and beautiful and deserving collie participants, it is a joy to be with such good friends and meet new ones at this special time of year. Again forgive my shortcomings on updating or even posting about the dogs, im terrible about it. I am planning on just 2 more events for this year Deja at Edwardsville, i thought i entered the puppy Turbo but i have to check that i may have missed him, and planning on a couple of days in FL. Turbs and Maum. Then ????

Sorry no selfie thank goodness lol. She did it again!! A beautiful group. Teddy really likes her and gave her a group 3 and J Mitchell a OH Grp 2! It was extremely hot at the shows and by Sunday both of us and 3 puppies were ready to head home. Thank You to Ms sweetheart Brenda and Hub Jeff for letting me x dogs and spend the night there on my way home. OH BTW they are now the owners of Chrysalis Good Time Charlie!! and my sweet Rebel went to her forever home, this weekend too. Awwww getting my living room back!!!!! whoo hoo Who ever is going to Owensborow see you there. Love Deb Bob and the crew here at Smoothland Invaded by Roughs. But Not for long

Whoo Hoo Maumie's first weekend out after maternity leave, here in Muncie IN. Pups are 13 wks and Maum not quite ready for prime time players but here we are. On Thurs s he took OH G4 on Fri an OH G2, she played hard in regular groups and competition tough. but TODAY.... she went reg G 4 and OH g 2!!! Sometimes she's a real pain in the arss, but knows her job in the ring. Tommorrow if I can find my camera and If we do something i will take a selfie so you guys can have a lol moment. Cuz im terrrib at it.

Hello Wow i know 2 post in 10 days or so!! Its a record. This is Deja- a fun loving Bad Girl! She is full of herself. You might say she thinks she is all that and a bag of chips.
