"The mushroom shack", our nickname for our farm, is 100% local to the tri-state area and more specifically Evansville, IN. We are NOT a store which confuses a lot of people and leaves people wondering where they can purchase our mushrooms and other merchandise.

We pride ourselves on our flavors and quality: Cherry Teriyaki, Orange Habanero, Carolina BBQ and Naughty Pickle. Cost: $6.00 a bag and they sell out fast! We have had a lot of interest in people wanting to tour the mushroom shack. Unfortunately we do not offer tours at this time. But who knows that may change in the future! One day we may even offer classes... 🍄 ✌️

FYI: No Franklin Street Bazaar for us this Saturday (6/23/24). Our truck was rear ended and totaled (Ginger was shook up but fine). So we now have to regroup. BUT we will be back and slinging mushrooms the following Saturday! It’s going to be a hot one so stay cool! 😎 🍄

Getting things ready for the Franklin Street Bazaar!

We want to thank EVERYONE that made 2022 possible for us. From family and friends to new friends that have now become extended family. Together we have created our own “mycelium network” and we can’t wait for 2023! Bring on spring! 🍄

Spawn run today! The start of a new winter strain here in the mushrooms shack.. Soon we will have Pioppino mushrooms ready for the fall and winter season!

I had a question from someone with one of our Lion’s Mane grow kits.. I have already answered that question for him but I thought I would also post the answer here in case there were other hobby growers out there that may have the same question and concern about their Lion’s Mane.. 🍄

Answering a common question that I often get about fruiting mushrooms. In the video I mentioned posting a pic with this video showing them fruiting.. unfortunately for some reason Facebook does not allow a video and a pic in the same post so I am putting it down below in the comments.
