Helenna has been a great General Manager for Daisy’s. As she approaches the birth of her second child she will be looking for an opportunity that provides her more flexibility and will start training as a groomer beginning next week. This will be Helenna’s last week as a General Manager and as much as we will miss her in that role we are excited about the fact that she will still be with Daisy’s.

For me personally, Helenna has become family. I am happy that she will be continuing to take care of our dogs in her new role. I know that all of the things about Helenna that make her a good team mate and a great GM, will help her be a great groomer.

If you see Helenna this week, please take a moment to thank her for all that she has done for Daisy’s and our dogs.

A very special Thank You to everyone that donated food and treats in July for Sallie. Sallie was rescued by It Takes a Village No-Kill Rescue after being abandoned with her puppies. She was emaciated and was literally giving everything she had to her puppies. We have been fostering Sallie and she is now doing great. She is at a healthy weight and this morning went with me to Dunkin' to get a pup cup. All of Sallie's puppies have been placed in foster homes and now it is Sallie's turn. Please share Sallie and her story. Let's get her the happy ending and loving home she deserves. You can apply to adopt Sallie at www.itvrescue.org.
