Breeding versatile AKC/ASCA Australian Shepherds in Stanwood, WA

I just realized I forgot to post about NADD regionals. Vendetta and Flex rocked their first ever regional event in August. They were both qualified for regionals in the Senior division. Vendetta ended up placing 1st for the Senior division with a 19’6” distance jump. Flex jumped out of his division and into the Masters division with a new personal best of 21’10” and placed 5th in Masters.

They both earned themselves an invite to NADD Nationals. Vendi for placing 1st in the Senior Division and Flex for being in the top 25% overall in the Masters division. We unfortunately will not be attending Nationals this year but I am so proud of my baby dogs. This was their first season competing and they only attended 2-3 events this year, I’m so excited for many more years on the dock with these two Echo kids.

This weekend it was Flex’s turn to debut on the dock. To say I am thrilled with him would be an understatement. No titles because he started in Junior division on Friday morning then he promptly progressed into the Senior division and then leapt straight in the Masters division. (They need 5 jumps within the same division to earn their first title). His enthusiasm is unmatched, while he loves to celebrate with a tug on the dock with me he’s just as happy to be a “Woo Girl” and just run/leap around happily between his jumps.

He finished the weekend with a Personal Best of 20’3” which is pretty damn spectacular for an 11 month old puppy. We are taking it easy with him this summer and just making sure he has as much fun as possible playing one of our favorite games. He naturally is quite the little powerhouse and aid just so excited to get to participate.

Miss Vendetta earned her first title this weekend! She is now Audacity’s Bad Blood *DS*. This was her second dock diving event and she blew it out of the water. Consistently jumping in the high Senior division with two Masters jumps and a Personal Best of 20’3”. Once I figure out my timing with her and she starts tracking the toy better she’s going to be unstoppable!
