I just realized I forgot to post about NADD regionals. Vendetta and Flex rocked their first ever regional event in August. They were both qualified for regionals in the Senior division. Vendetta ended up placing 1st for the Senior division with a 19’6” distance jump. Flex jumped out of his division and into the Masters division with a new personal best of 21’10” and placed 5th in Masters.

They both earned themselves an invite to NADD Nationals. Vendi for placing 1st in the Senior Division and Flex for being in the top 25% overall in the Masters division. We unfortunately will not be attending Nationals this year but I am so proud of my baby dogs. This was their first season competing and they only attended 2-3 events this year, I’m so excited for many more years on the dock with these two Echo kids.

This weekend it was Flex’s turn to debut on the dock. To say I am thrilled with him would be an understatement. No titles because he started in Junior division on Friday morning then he promptly progressed into the Senior division and then leapt straight in the Masters division. (They need 5 jumps within the same division to earn their first title). His enthusiasm is unmatched, while he loves to celebrate with a tug on the dock with me he’s just as happy to be a “Woo Girl” and just run/leap around happily between his jumps.

He finished the weekend with a Personal Best of 20’3” which is pretty damn spectacular for an 11 month old puppy. We are taking it easy with him this summer and just making sure he has as much fun as possible playing one of our favorite games. He naturally is quite the little powerhouse and aid just so excited to get to participate.

Miss Vendetta earned her first title this weekend! She is now Audacity’s Bad Blood *DS*. This was her second dock diving event and she blew it out of the water. Consistently jumping in the high Senior division with two Masters jumps and a Personal Best of 20’3”. Once I figure out my timing with her and she starts tracking the toy better she’s going to be unstoppable!

Huge congratulations to Nathalie & Jimmie Sanford of Beach Bum Aussies on their new CKC Champion! CKC CH Audacity's Let The Games Begin "Summer" finished this weekend going BOB over specials and going on to win Group 3. What an accomplishment for an 11 month old puppy! Thank you both for all the hard work you've put into this girl! Summer is the first champion bred by Audacity!

Echo decided to go for a swim during her potty break so the puppies were moved to a bed to stay dry. She is not a big fan of this arrangement.

X-ray tomorrow! Time to make your guesses for how many puppies she’s going to have, day/time she will have them, and color/gender split. We are currently on Day 57, Day 63 is on Monday 8/14. (Only expecting blue merles and black tris).

For reference her litter last year:
-Born in the morning on Day 60
-8 puppies in just over 3 hours
- 2 Blue Merle Males
- 2 Blue Merle Females
- 2 Black Tri Males
- 2 Black Tri Females

Happy 2nd Birthday to Capri and her litter sister Darcee! I can’t believe you guys are already 2! I’m so excited for Capri’s future, we’ve already accomplished so much in such a short time. Capri has all of her ASCA majors and is still at 13pts, in AKC she’s sitting at 7pts with one major, and has earned her RN in both AKC & ASCA. She’s such a fun little dog, thank you Hannah Davis for entrusting her to me. I can’t imagine our household without her.

We’ve had the pleasure of having Darcee stay with us this week so that I could take both girls in together for their OFAs. Darcee is the perfect houseguest and we have all loved having her here. She was not the biggest fan of being stuck next to her sister for a picture with her birthday cookie, but a huge fan of the cookie itself😂

Echo rocked the rally ring this weekend at the AKC Northwest Cluster in Lynden. She started and finished her Rally Excellent title coming in 2nd place for all 3 runs. Im so proud of how hard she worked this weekend!
