And that’s a wrap for Miss Molly! We spent this weekend reuniting with her mom and practicing her awesome off leash skills on the beach and at the park. Being able to have Molly respond to coming when called around distractions was the #1 goal, and we definitely checked that off!

So thankful to have the trust and support from my clients. Molly is the third dog from this family that I have helped train, and they were more than happy to have Molly travel to NC to train at the beach. Thank you for allowing me to help your family again 🥰

Teddie wraps up her first week of Day & Train today. Her mom will have her own lesson this afternoon to review what Teddie has been learning. Teddie has a really great foundation of obedience already, but she needed to take the next steps to learn to comply around distractions.

She has had a great first week, showing she is a quick learner just as I expected!

Miss Molly had a lovely trip to the beach this morning. This was her first time on the beach, and her initial reaction to the waves looked like she was thinking ‘Nope, not today!’ But clearly she overcame that hesitation in no time!

Molly loves to chase birds, so we were able to practice her obedience around them. She was able to chase them when given the OK, then she practiced listening to Leave It to totally ignore as well as being called off them during chase. Great real world training!!

Molly has stepped up her game this week! She has been practicing recall at greater distances and learning about the e-collar.

Had a great first lesson with Shana and her family. Happy to hear that her parents are doing all the right things to provide her a safe and happy home, and give proper outlets and training for her energy. They just needed a few tips and ideas to fine tune some things to get even better behavior from her.

Big field trip for Molly today. A college campus provided plenty of exposure to strangers for this slightly suspicious but friendly pup!

Molly has settled in nicely after arriving on Tuesday. She shows more of her true nature without her canine siblings around her, such as being more nervous about her surroundings when on walks. She is a busybody and wants to follow the human anywhere. So adding in some obedience now and creating more space to help her learn to cope and build that confidence she needs.

After a full morning of walks and exploring together, Molly gets a cheek roll for chew time. I asked if she liked it, and I think her expressions show she does!
