We have a brand new channel that I hope to use primarily for taxidermy related tips for our customers, but will from time to time upload some hunting related content. This is just a reminder to check those guns as we approach our second week of season!

Taking these few extra steps and spending a we extra dollars on shells can go a long way towards having confidence in the woods this spring!

Had to just take a very quick pic as he was leaving in the bad lighting, but the once-in-a-lifetime Hedges buck went home today.

Austin has been a loyal customer for over 3 years now and has referred many customers this way. We’ve come long way in our work since then and still have a long ways to go, but words cannot express how appreciative I am for his trust with this buck.

We haven’t been posting pics lately, and likely won’t until I get the chance to set up a proper background and lighting that actually gives justice to everyone’s trophies, but just wanted to check in on the page. We’ve seen several whitetails, bobcats, mule deer, and antelope go out the door in the last few weeks .

We are ramping up to get several more mounts finished to catch up on our projected timelines!

We wanna wish everyone a very safe and successful alternative season. We have 5 spots left for shoulder mounts, so please call us asap and make an appointment to drop off that buck you’ve been after if you are successful. We can accommodate most drop off times throughout most of the holiday season.

Whether you fill any extra doe tags or are still hunting for that buck, this season always adds an extra challenge and new kinds of fun!

The Pulsipher buck was one for the books on unique characteristics!

Just an update that we have 6 slots left for our shoulder mount quota for the year. We have alternative and late archery still to go, so please make sure to get with us asap if you decide you want a deer mounted.

We are finally back at it hard in the shop after a very busy and blessed gun season of cataloging and getting everything squared away for this year’s work. There will be more pics and podcasts to come in the next few weeks. We are also going to start working on ducks (finally)

We wanna wish all of our local youth hunters a very safe and successful youth weekend! We will be available to check in mounts all weekend, and for this weekend only, youth shoulder mounts will have a 10% discount and all youth European mounts (skull only) will be $50.

We are going for a banner season in business volume this year at Korde’s and I need your help!

Our current following is at around 250, but we’d like to close out the season closer to 1000 so we can get the word out about what we do.

The incentive is simple: Make sure you already like Korde’s taxidermy on our social media accounts, share this post on your news feed, and then tag three buddies to invite them in on it as well!

We want to hit 750, and, once we do, we will draw for for someone to receive a free shoulder mount.

The European mounts are coming in and out of the shop at a nice rate. We love getting them back to our customers as soon as possible to enjoy on the wall. Don’t forget: this year we are charging $85 for a whitened, stained, or metallic skull, and we have custom plaques available for an extra charge. For select sizes of deer, we even offer a European mount trade for your cape, but it’s at our discretion whether your cape qualifies for the trade.

Routine customer, Blake, does it yet again! You can’t tell by the angle, but this buck had a 24” neck, and an amazing typical but non-typical 12 point rack. Blake was featured on the podcast a few weeks ago and will be back to tell the tale on this one for sure!

We didn’t get to take nicer outdoor pics, but this deer was brought in 4 weeks ago and we were able to get it right back to its owner. Beautiful cape and clean looking buck. If you have an early season bow kill, or, like this deer have been keeping one in the freezer for “someday”, all I can say is our turn around time will be fairly fast until gun season hits, so try to take advantage of it!
