This is the first (and only) time I fed them without being separated. I did this to show the owner how far the guy on the right has come. When he first came to visit me, he couldn't hold a stay position, jumped on everyone he came across, and had little to no obedience skills. Now he's maintaining a sit with distractions, greeting people politely, and is learning to heel on a lead. #bestboy #soproud #MrSmartyPaws #Boxermix #FoodManners
This sweet guy came for repeat boardings and in the short time we've had him here, he's learned how to "sit", "stay", and "watch me" (with distractions and with a barrier) before receiving the "go ahead" to eat.

Working on our version of "place" for the kitchen. We use "manners" to get the pup quickly out of the way and to a safe place where they can still be near us, but aren't underfoot as we cook or clean.
