Cheddar is an independent yet loving petite orange/ginger cat. She enjoys playing games with her foster Mom, since she is still a youngster and has plenty of energy to burn off. However, her personality is also similar to orange cats in that she is content to spend time alone resting or looking out the window.

She was abandoned outdoors at a very young age before being rescued and has nicely transitioned to life indoors. She prefers to interact with people at her own pace and does not like to be overwhelmed with a lot of attention at one time. However, once she feels safe, she easily cuddles up close to her foster Mom and other house guests on the couch or a favorite chair and will stay there for hours. Cheddar requires a quiet home with no other adult cats or children.

Cheddar is fostered in Alexandria, VA.

Meet one of PBJ’s incredible senior cats: Ivy – the sweetest little senior with a heart full of love!

At 16 years young, Ivy has been through quite an adventure. This gentle girl was found all alone in someone’s backyard, all alone and a bit confused but as kind and trusting as could be. From the moment she was rescued, Ivy has charmed everyone she’s met with her affectionate spirit and gentle purrs.

Though she only has one eye, don’t let that fool you—nothing slows this beautiful lady down! Ivy gets around just fine and enjoys all the simple pleasures in life: a cozy nap in a sunny spot, gentle pets, and quiet companionship with her humans.
Her foster mom says Ivy is the perfect combination of sweet, calm, and loving. She’s happy to curl up next to you for snuggles or simply lounge nearby while you relax. She’s also been a total sweetheart with the other resident cats—easygoing, respectful, and content to share space.

Ivy is looking for a quiet, loving home where she can spend her golden years surrounded by warmth and care. If you’re searching for a loyal, low-key companion who will fill your heart with peace and affection, Ivy just might be your perfect match.

Come Meet Saylor and Kimber this Saturday November 12th from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Fairfax Pet Smart, 10310 Main Street, Fairfax VA.

Saylor and Kimber are over-the-top loveable kitten sisters who came to PBJ from a rural shelter. The shelter staff promised that we'd fall in love the moment they arrived, and they were absolutely correct! You couldn't ask for sweeter or more friendly kitties than these two girls.

Saylor is distinguished by a small white patch on her chest and is more outgoing and will be the first to jump onto your lap for snuggle time. Kimber loves to play and hide and enjoys any new toy presented to her. Bottom line is both of these kitty girls are very loving and affectionate.

Meet Bramble! This beautiful orange-and-white boy is the perfect mix of playful and wise. At 6 years old, he still has a kitten’s curiosity but the calm, loving nature of a mature cat. He loves, loves, loves people! Bramble hasn’t lived with other cats but may do well with a slow introduction, and he’s had some positive experiences with dogs. Handsome, intelligent, and affectionate—Bramble is ready to find his forever home!

Bramble Bramble Bramble! This fun loving guy is the cat's meow! At 6 years old, Bramble still has the curiosity of a kitten, but the wisdom of an older soul in search of his forever human. Bramble has not been with other cats but might do fine with proper introduction and he has had some K9 experience. Handsome and intelligent as ever, we know this boy's special someone is out there right now waiting to make that kitty connection!

Bramble LOVES LOVES LOVES people.
