This What About Me Wednesday we'd like to tell you about Mona!
Mona is an absolutely stunning 4-year-old Tortie girl She came into rescue along with 2 other cats when her owner lost her home. It is clear Mona was loved and cared for. Mona is a total lap cat. She is great with people and good with other cats. She is also completely fine as a single cat as long as she has love from humans.
Mona is a healthy FIV+ girl FIV+ cats can live long happy lives indoors

Tuesday, October 29 is National Cat Day and is the purrfect day to give extra attention to your feline friends! Cats make excellent companions and show their owners unconditional love, and there is nothing better than hearing your cat's purr at the end of a long day.

💞What About Me ... Wednesday💞
This What About Me Wednesday, we'd like you to meet Ella!
Ella was rescued from the streets of Doha, Qatar as a young, abandoned cat and PBJ was asked to help find her a loving home. From the moment of her rescue, she was cheerful and purry. Ella is a loving and playful girl who gets along wonderfully well with children, cats, and dogs! The perfect addition to any family.

Her rescuer and former foster in Qatar writes:

"Ella is super sweet and loving. She was found on the highway and, even though she was in a scary situation, she wanted snuggles and pets immediately. She adores her dog friends, and also loves other cats and children. She has a unique meow and will talk to you, but she’s not pushy or demanding. She’s very playful and used to a busy, active household."

Please help spread the word so we can find sweet Ella the loving home she deserves!

PBJ is delighted to announce a new collaboration with Pet Evolution in Fairfax! (PE) is a relatively new privately owned franchise that sells healthy pet food/supplies and offers professional dog and cat grooming, along with a place for dog parents to “self-wash” their dogs. PE is incredibly committed to working with PBJ and other rescues in supporting our mission to save homeless animals and find them loving homes.

To launch the PBJ-PE collaboration, we’re holding our first ever PBJ cat adoption event at PE this coming Sunday, October 27th in honor of National Cat Day. 12 lucky Pets Bring Joy cats were adopted this week.
We are so happy and hope the trend continues.
Congratulations to sister moms Skylite and Egg Custard - abandoned without food or water in a dog crate with 10 kittens they watched the babies all get home sand now its their turn !
Yay for Pansy who went home this week and will be doted on for sure !
River and Matcha are the kittens of a feral moms who were lucky enough to get in to rescue. Moms have been spayed and are cared for outside
Ava 2 is moving to Switzerland with house guests who fell madly in love with her at the fosters home. !
Andre and Hugo were returned to Pets Bring Joy when their human dad went into Hospice and now have been given a second chance
Simone watched her kittens get adopted and did not have to remain alone long, as her new humans are very smitten
And last but not least adopted today is darling Toby who is on special food exactly like the food his new kitty brother eats - a match made in heaven

Orphan bottle baby Wiles has joined his new adoptive family and it’s going well !

We would like to welcome the newest and youngest member of the Pets Bring Joy family. Thankfully, we have a nursing mom arriving tomorrow to hopefully welcome little Wiles into her crew.

Update- This litter visiting PetMAC has been postponed for a later date but you can apply for the Soda Pop Kittens on the Pets Bring Joy website For our DC and MD folks please come meet the Soda Pop kittens this Saturday the 22 from 10-4 at PetMAC 4914 Wisconsin Ave NW DC 20016 #adoptionday
