Sally is an easy young Tabby girl who likely prefers to be a single.

PBJ Home for the Holidays Campaign – Featuring Wally

Can you help us bring Wally home for the holidays? He has come a long way, 7,000 miles exactly, from Doha, Qatar, where a kind American rescued him as a young stray. She knew he had previously been someone’s (abandoned) pet because of how friendly he was. She brought him to the United States and where he is looking for his forever home.

Wally is a youngster, between 1-2 years old and is curious, playful, talkative, and loves to be in the middle of lots of action! He is very social with new people, coming out to meet and greet anyone who visits him in his foster home. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him, but not one person has offered to adopt him yet.

WALLY LOVES DOGS! In his Qatar foster home, he was best friends with the foster's collie mix. He's kinda bossy with other cats, though.

We would love for Wally to find his Forever Home before the holidays! Do you have room in your home and heart for a furry friend? Please share far and wide with your friends and neighbors!

It was a great week of adoptions with 10 cats finding their forever homes.

Congratulations to our entire litter of black teens, W***y and Blossom who were adopted together and siblings PJ, Plato and Lincoln who went home as a th*****me

Zitti and Zydeco who met in foster care and became the best of friends and went home together.

Holiday Kitty Reminder #1: Mistle-No!

Both mistletoe and holly can cause gastrointestinal upset and cardiovascular problems if ingested by pets. Many types of lilies that are typically found in holiday bouquets are highly toxic and can cause kidney failure in cats. Poinsettias can also make pets sick with mild to moderate gastrointestinal irritation. So, be sure to keep floral decorations out of paws reach or replace the traditional holiday plant with a faux alternative!

Meet Dot and Opie, two of PBJ's sweetest foster cats whose stories are as heartwarming as they are inspiring. After facing the hardship of being returned to rescue, we uncovered that Opie has significant challenges that require ongoing attention and care. Opie is not just a cat; she is a brave little warrior who is under constant veterinary supervision and sees a behavioral specialist for her diagnosis of OCD. She takes multiple medications to help manage her behavioral health. Her journey involves regular grooming sessions, as she needs to be shaved to prevent overgrooming and subsequent mouth infections.

We are dedicated to ensuring that Opie receives all the care she needs, and we refuse to give up on this darling cat. Our commitment to cats like Opie reflects our mission to provide love and support to every cat that comes through our doors. But we can't do it alone. Your generous donations will help cover Opie's veterinary expenses and provide her with the specialized care she deserves. 🐾💞🥰

Oliver's Journey From Zero to Purr-ito!
Once upon a time in the heart of West Virginia, a tiny 7-week-old kitten named Oliver faced a daunting challenge. Abandoned and alone, he was in desperate need of help, and that's when the magic of community came into play! Thanks to the unwavering support of compassionate animal lovers like you, Oliver's tale transformed from one of despair to one of hope and triumph.

Oliver's rescue journey kicked off when the caring folks at Kitty Angels Inc. swooped in to save the day, whisking him away to safety. After a thorough triage, they realized that Oliver needed a little extra TLC, and that's where Pets Bring Joy stepped in with open arms and warm hearts. We simply couldn't resist saying yes to helping this little purr-ito on his road to recovery!

The journey wasn't without its bumps. Oliver faced upper respiratory infections, a flea infestation, and an umbilical hernia that required surgery. But with a sprinkle of love, a dash of patience, and a whole lot of supportive care, Oliver emerged from his challenges stronger than ever!

After months of dedicated care, Oliver not only conquered his health battles but also blossomed into a playful, affectionate kitten ready to steal hearts. We're thrilled to share that he has now found his forever home, where he can pounce into a life filled with love and joy!

Oliver's journey is a testament to the incredible bond between pets and their rescuers, and it wouldn't have been possible without the kindness of our community. Your contributions help create more heartwarming stories just like Oliver's, bringing hope and happiness to countless animals in need.

Cinnamon's story begins with a heart-pounding moment of urgency when a compassionate Good Samaritan spotted her darting across a busy street, narrowly escaping a dangerous encounter with oncoming traffic. This brave soul didn't hesitate for a moment; they scooped up the frightened kitten and ensured her safety. After searching high and low for Cinnamon’s original family, they realized this little furball was meant for a new beginning. With a heart full of hope, they turned to PBJ to help find Cinnamon her forever home.
We are happy to share that Cinnamon is now resting in a warm fuzzy bed in a PBJ foster home, and dreaming of her future forever family.
Every kitty deserves a second chance and a loving family to call their own. Cinnamon's journey is a heartwarming testament to the resilience of animals and the power of a passionate community.

Meet Snow, a resilient 2-year-old cat who traveled all the way from Kabul,
Afghanistan alongside 299 other cats and dogs, each hoping to find their forever homes. Before committing to Snow’s rescue, we were told he had a severe case of Stomatitis, a significant dental condition requiring multiple extractions. A thorough veterinary examination revealed this sweet boy was suffering and would likely require a full mouth extraction. Unfortunately, such medical care was not available in Kabul, having left Snow in a vulnerable state.
Thanks to your generosity, PBJ was able to provide Snow the necessary medical treatment that transformed his life. After his dental surgery and subsequent recovery, Snow blossomed into a healthy, happy cat, ready to embrace the love and comfort of a forever home. The joy didn't stop there—through our PBJ adoption services, Snow found not only a loving home but also a brother kitty named Franklin to share his adventures with!
Snow's journey is a beautiful reminder of the profound impact that community support can have on the lives of animals in need. It is your kindness and generosity that make rescues like Snow's possible.😻
