Introducing ECHO Barkery, a local dog bakery benefiting adults with disabilities! ECHO’s dog biscuits are made with love for our 4-legged friends by adults with disabilities. Every sale supports their mission and represents an employment opportunity at ECHO. Visit Weber’s TODAY 7/27 between 11 am and 1 pm to learn more about ECHO Barkery and sample a biscuit!

Introducing two of the animal rescue organizations that Weber's Fairfax supports: Mutt Love Rescue located in Northern VA and SPCA NoVa!

Mutt Love Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer dog rescue organization serving our local area! They are dedicated to rescuing dogs left homeless for any reason and placing them in loving permanent homes. You can find them at a Weber’s store on nearly any Saturday (in either our Fairfax or Reston locations) and learn more at muttloverescue.org

SPCA NoVA is the local chapter of the national Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Their mission is to end the abuse and homelessness of cats and dogs, which they do through efforts to rescue, rehab, adopt and spay. Learn more at spcanova.org, or talk to them this Saturday 7/27 in Weber’s Fairfax from 1-3 pm!

Goose (and all of us at Weber’s) are excited for Fairfax City Shop Local Week to kick off on Thursday! Keep an eye on our social all week to see what Goose is getting up to around Fairfax City. Weber’s in Fairfax will be hosting fun activities all week, including:

- Community Cares Thursday 7/25: Stay tuned to learn more about two of the animal rescue groups we love, Mutt Love Rescue located in Northern VA and SPCA NoVa
- Social Friday 7/26: Strike a pose with your favorite Weber’s friend (Goose or Buzz) in our store or around Fairfax City and help us settle the perennial debate - cats or dogs? (Take your pictures all week and tag us - we’ll tally up cats and dogs at the end!)
- Sidewalk Saturday 7/27: Join us for an ice cream social hosted by Yo Pup. Local bakery ECHO Barkery will be on-site from 11-1. Stop by to learn about their mission and try a tasty treat for your dog. Stay a little longer, and you can say hi to some pups looking for a good home during the SPCA adoption from 1-3.
- Discovery Monday 7/29: Learn about one of our favorite local makers, Corn Dog Collars, and peek around Weber’s Fairfax to spot other local products.
- Treat Yourself Tuesday 7/30: This speaks for itself, doesn’t it? Stop in for advice on the tastiest treats for your furry friends.
- Wellness Wednesday 7/31: Visit Weber’s for the latest in engagement toys for keeping your pet active (and learn why it’s good for both of you!)
