This is just a friendly reminder that unless your dog is wearing shoes, you should avoid walking on pavement and places with little to no shade during these hot months!
Also stay aware of overheating and dehydration. This weeks temperature will reach a high of 95 degrees which means the asphalt can reach temps of 150 degrees. Stay cool friends!!

Hi my name is Katie and I am a veterinary technician who will be starting veterinary school in January at Lincoln Memorial University! I have been pet sitting for 10 years now and have watched many different species of animals and help with any pet sitting needs! I got into pet sitting because I love being able to give your fuzzy, scaly, or feathered family members the love and care they need when you are away! I have worked in veterinary medicine for over 8 years with a lot of different experiences in caring for animals. I have graduated from Norwalk community college in 2018 with associates degrees in veterinary technology, arts and sciences, and psychology. I then went on and graduated from University of Connecticut with bachelors degrees in Animal Science and Pathology. I graduated in June 2022 with a masters degree in epidemiology. From there I plan on moving to Tennessee in December to start veterinary school. Caring for animals and providing support for their family members has always been something I strive to do and to continue to carry on. I can’t wait to get to know your beloved family members as I start this new chapter!
