From a young age, I’ve had a passion for hunting. During my freshman year of high school, I picked up taxidermy, and it quickly became something I enjoyed. I always thought college wasn’t the path for me, but as life changes, I’ve recently decided to pursue a new direction by going to college to become a Radiology Technologist. Because of this, I will not be taking in any more deer this season. I am so thankful for every customer who has trusted me to mount their deer, and I truly appreciate the patience and support you’ve shown along the way. A special thanks to my mentors, Julian Loker and Jack Emery, for the hours you both put in teaching me this art. 🦌

Hunting season is upon us! If you get a deer, please message me or call/text 516-1809. Turnaround time is approximately one year which seems to be under the average time.

I am still working hard on deer from last season. Between my two knee surgeries over the summer and school, I am a little bit behind. I should still be able to finish in a reasonable time. I have also been continuing to fine tune my skills during this time thanks to a great mentor.

Thank you to all my customers for choosing me for your deer mounts. Unfortunately, I had a knee injury a few weeks ago that resulted in me tearing my MPFL (the ligament that holds the patella in place). I will be having surgery sometime in the near future. My hope is to still have all the mounts done within the amount of time originally quoted. However, I know this could set me back just a bit. I just wanted to let everyone know that I am doing what I can to push forward though. Thank you for your understanding!

I attended the Illinois Taxidermy Association convention over the weekend. It was an honor to visit and learn from others in the industry. I also got to spend some time with two of my mentors. I’m very thankful for the opportunity!

I really appreciate the tremendous amount of support this deer season. As of right now, I have reached the max I can take in order to get them back in an appropriate amount of time. On top of this business, I'm still a high school student, so I have to have a limit. If you have already been in touch with me, I have you on the list. Please remember me for next hunting season!
