R.I.P. Lil Ivy
Link above is a little video of Ivy being Ivy. Doing what she's known for and that's being a tight line track hound. Little girl took us on endless adventures across the country and making friends along the way. Her genetics will carry on through her pups Jade and Hawk and Rose and their pups. She never stopped amazing me with her natural instincts to chase rabbits and win in field trials being 13" against 15" hounds. She definitely surprised a lot of handlers taking wins. She had a good life and was loved by many.
She fought lymes disease for several years but we managed it. Older she got longer treatments took to get her right again. It was just to much for her this time and she decided she belonged in Iowa to rest. Her footprint will live on with Leisa and I as long as there is a chocolate Redtick in my kennel.

Boo-Dan out of jeff Stacy's outlaw line.
He's a honest first strike dog with great speed with keeping a tighter line like we want. No better in the check.
She's like Ivy with medium speed and tight AF on that line. Great check area hound that stays tight in it and works outwards till she picks it up. Been trying for 2 years for this and mixing the hunt styles of these 2 hounds together should keep me moving in the direction of that hound I like to hunt behind. Hoping these will get trained on swampers!
