ADOPTED ❤️
In his final days of hospice care, Kitty’s owner entrusted us to find her a family who will love her just as much as he did. A dedicated animal advocate, this long-time supporter and safe haven for rescue pets also chose to have donations sent to us after he passed. Kitty doesn’t know all of this. She just knows she misses her person and wonders why she lives in a cage. At 10 years old, she’s craving a quiet life where she can get her paws back under her. This beautiful dilute tortie with the chubby cheeks and slight tortie-tude meows with an adorable croak. Meet her at our West Chester Campus to help her while honoring the memory of her now deceased owner.

This is 10 year old Noah. One of Jersey State Animal Rescue’s former adopters rescued Noah from an Atlantic City street and took him home. Rita took Noah to her vet where he was neutered and got the “works”. Noah tested negative for FeLV and his bloodwork showed that his kidney and liver functions are normal…however he may be borderline hyperthyroid. Rita and her husband had all intentions of keeping Noah…as he is a total lovebug and loves to snuggle and cuddle…but their 3 other cats just won’t accept him…and Noah is deathly afraid of their dog. They have been trying to make this relationship work for the past two months, but sadly it just isn’t happening…and they feel the best thing for Noah is to find him a home where he can be an “only” pet. I told Rita that it would be best for a rescue group to take in Noah and find him his “Happily Ever After” because they oftentimes have access to an adoption center at a PetSmart, etc…and can do a proper screening of applicants. If you are affiliated with a rescue group and would like to give Noah a storybook ending…please contact Rita at: (856)404-3426.

This pretty little beauty is Morgan. A kind person witnessed this baby being thrown from a vehicle and came to the rescue. Morgan went to an emergency vet. She has an eye issue that may have been caused by the trauma. Morgan is estimated to be 2 years old and doesn't let anything get her down. She's curious and friendly and looking for a forever home where she is safe and loved. Could that home be with you?

Chance's owner is experiencing a medical emergency and moved in with a friend for help while receiving treatment. A preferred foster home would be within a short distance from Harleysville, so she can possibly visit.

The foster and the owner can discuss convenient times that would work for both or meet at a local park. Remember the owner pays for ALL expenses.

Please spread the word! Cheddar was LOST on April 9, 2022 in Philadelphia, PA 19139 near 52nd Irving street West Philadelphia

Message from Owner: He is a good kitty and probably very scared. He has always been indoors. I am hoping he is outside and safe and that the person did not harm him. Very worried about him.

Description: Friendly, Orange Tabby has always been indoor cat. He was recently adopted by person in this area and he supposedly scratched child in . Adopter contacted me to come pick him up and I was going to go asap and he refused to answer me back w exact address. Then said "cat was out immediately " and he wasn't waiting for me to pick up. I called and text w no response. I drove to street and looked all over..Very concerned. If anyone sees Cheddar or knows where he is please contact me immediately. Thank you.

While the traditional approach has been to wait until a cat is at least six months old before neutering, the ASV (Association of Shelter Veterinarians’) guidelines recommend neutering before the cat reaches sexual maturity to prevent unwanted litters. Pediatric spay and neuter eliminates any chance of an “oops litter,” since female cats can become pregnant as young as four months.

In addition to the commonly accepted health benefits associated with ovariohysterectomy and orchiectomy, such as reducing the incidence of mammary neoplasia and behavioral problems, pediatric (between 8 and 16 weeks of age) spay and neuter offer additional advantages. They are effective tools for dealing with the overpopulation of unwanted cats. The surgical procedures are easier, faster, and less expensive than they are in adult animals. With shorter surgery times and shorter anesthetic episodes, the incidence of perioperative complications is low. Anesthetic recovery and healing are shorter than in adults as well.

With her caramel and black coloring and sweet personality, this girl could only be Nestle (as in the candy bar)! Nestle has been in foster care, along with her two siblings, since she was 3 weeks old. Her siblings were adopted but Nestle was left behind because of an infection that damaged her eyes. Despite dedicated care, one eye could not be saved and her "good" eye may always be cloudy with limited vision. Nestle has blossomed into an incredibly loving girl who is active and playful. At 6 months old, she is a gorgeous calico/torti with tabby stripes in places making her a torbico: a very special girl. Nestle has been raised around cats, dogs, and rabbits and really enjoys the company of rabbits and friendly cats. Might this very very special girl be your next family member?
