Hi all! As some of you know I work for , a really amazing nonprofit service dog program. Here is Apollo, one of our newest adoptable, career changed dogs! Please make sure to tell those interested in adopting that there is typically a donation involved, as we have had upset potential adopters in the past that were unaware when applying. When we career change our dogs, it is a huge loss to the program so the adoption fees help the organization cover some of those expenses. While we occasionally have sponsors cover adoption fees (particularly to veterans), the fees can be anywhere starting from $250 up to $2000 depending on the dog's expenses, amount of training, and adoptability. As we are a nonprofit, the adoption fee can be considered a donation to our nonprofit and can be used as a tax write off, so this is a great way to help support our program.

Weight: 75 po nvm of our rescue pups we have adopted to try to become a service dog, however, we have made the decision to discontinue his training. He is an active, affectionate dog that does well around all types of peoHe knows some basic obedience and does well on a loose leash walk, however he will pull towards other dogs or new people. He is potty trained and crate trained, but does vocalize if not exercised regularly. He would strive in a home environment with an active lifestyle. While he has been able to play well with multiple dogs, he can be selective on which dogs he gets along with and has a tendency to resource guard space/people with other dogs. Because of this, if you have a home with a dog and are interested in Apollo, please bring them to the facility for a meet and greet. He is very fun to be around and loves attention, please consider bringing this playful boy into your home.
