It's happening. Pepper is in heat now, doing progesterone tests, expecting her to be ready early next week. I can't wait to bring Mac "out of the freezer". Some of my favorite dogs are either in this pedigree, or from a combination of parts of this pedigree.

Introducing Remus to the concept of a scent discrimination Mondio style "little wood". Most dogs naturally know how to do this, toss a stick into the woods or a pile of driftwood at the beach, and they bring back that stick. I like to just let them figure it out with minimal guidance.
Remus is currently almost 5 months old and teething like crazy, so we are focusing more on obedience and retrieves, with only occasional bitey things.
